I have started your video course three weeks ago and I practice four to five time a week,.I think that I have listened that in Karate kid movie, Miyagi's words. Karate is not a sport or just fight but a way to live.

Fun fact three years after this video was put out, it has been proven that when you yell, or make some kind of grunting noise while you're hitting or kicking something, you add a little bit of power to that hit or kick.

Yeah, after all this is still just a teenage drama. Play solo admitted, it's pretty stupid. If it wasn't for the karate, it would be a pretty dumb show. I stopped watching season 2, but I like your channel, so here we are LOL

I can’t do the fist up bit as during our grading we have to have both arms down and out to the side a little.

Its not an easy kick, you have to train your body to do this correctly not just the legs. 😊

During the Japanese colonial period, Korea's own martial arts were banned, and Korean martial artists could only practice Japanese martial arts. After Japan's defeat, they created Taekwondo, a combination of Japanese martial arts and Korean martial arts. Korea has long had many mountain ranges, so leg training There were many martial arts where foot and foot techniques were the mainstay, and this has its influence.

With all due respect to your art & maybe I am biased because being American & not interested in being a combat sports or MMA fighter but more a street survivor if it is needed I feel that in a street fight you need a style that has standing and ground work as you never know who your attacker will be or what they will choose to do as you might find yourself against an angry jacked wrestler who is determined to take you down to the concrete & I could be wrong but my feeling is traditional stand up karate does not train against such tactics or how to deal effectively once they are on the ground, but maybe I am wrong but I just think a general understanding & practice of every scenario & position in a fight or spar session gets you more prepared for achance encounter with an angry idiot that is out looking to fight you as you never know where that match will end up and should train in as many outcomes possible, i am not putting your traditional larate down in any way but I think it should add the aspects that can happen in a fight with groundwork and such

Two small frame Japanese men, against to larger frame European, more likely have 30 to 50lbs weight advantage over the Asian men, just go double dating and be done with it😂 last time i checked aiki jujutsu was, is defensive at essence

I think that the Iron Dragon style in season 6 part 2 is Shotokan since Axle performs Unsu kata on the beach and looks to be using Enpi kick defense strategies against Cobra Kai. What are your thoughts? (Not the topic of this video but just curious)

Actually met the actor playing kreese at a convention (among other actors from Cobra kai) and he is such a nice lovely guy, completely the opposite of his character. It's such a 180, he's a good actor!

Jaden Smith was a spoilt, entitled little git.. he was not right for this part. Too cocky and smug because of “daddy”.. he was so wrong for this. They put in a professional gymnast for many of Jadens stunts

OMG, just enjoy the movie!!! Everything doesn't have to be compared to the first movie. There's a whole new generation watching this movie that didn't see the first movie so just enjoy it. Good Lord! And they can call the movie whatever they want. Obviously it's about recognition. And obviously it's not made for the Kung Fu or karate expert. it's made for those of us who are not in martial arts. Even though I was in karate when I was six. I think I only got to be a yellow belt, lol.
