TBH no direct answer for it. One has to analyse the leapp pre- upgrade logs and the results before proceedings further. In some environments I noticed people had to uninstall the application and reinstall as well. It just depends on the application structure.

Thanks for the video. Some notes to update is that I had to use python virtual environment to install ansible, and I also had to configure SSH server and entrypoint sshd, rather than systemd. Systemd doesn't work for containers (at least it wasn't working for me).

Well I never tested it for centos, still I believe if you migrate centos to redhat, this procedure should work over that as well.

As per my understanding you only need internet connection to provide RHEL8 packages, if same could be done using a satellite or an ISO leapp supports providing path of repository as well.

@@technotesofhemant8338 it is like 95% upgradation completed but after that it's going to " emergency mode with the above error ". I tried to come out from the emergency mode and reboot the VM and I observed one thing that kernel 4.18 available during reboot. I rebooted with kernel 4.18 and after booting done am unable to login the VM it's showing last login but not opening. And again I reboot with lowe kernel version am able to login. Here that DNF error didn't shown during pre-upgradation and upgradation.

Well this is from long, somewhere introduced in version 2 itself. It's just only visible to user when verbose output is provided with -vvv in ansible execution.

Thanks mate, good work on covering all aspects. Little feedback: Try to share the entire screen with separate ssh windows for each node and master, possibly with separate colour profiles. create graphical explanations rather than text. Text can be bit confusing. Overall good work considering that hirea is not the simplest technique in puppet.

Hello There, Well I am unsure about any direct module for the same, I suggest using the fetch module to copy the file from one target to the control node, later use copy module to transfer that to other target machines from your control machine.
