I like how you tried out all the different ways to make Gimbap 😂 I definitely need to try the Bulgogi Gimbap-sounds SO good! Also, I totally relate to struggling with the rice spreading. The magic of gimbap is you can literally put anything INSIDE! you can put mushroom and spinach instead of meat! Lots of gimbap have no meat actually😎

In all kimchi recpies I miss the explaination about how the fermentation works, how to store, which temperature, how long, how you know when it's ready and not spoiled. That's the hard part. And all recipes I watch don't explain this.

@@wihatmi5510 i recommend eating it within a week or 2 as its a vegan version kimchi and has less stuff for preserving for long. Plus, keep it outside for 2 days and then put it in the fridge. I’ll explain more about fermentation in the next videos!

Also, thank you for showing us how to roll the gimbap using the mat-that’s exactly what I needed. Now, though, I’m very curious about your rice cooker! I’d love to buy that exact rice cooker when I go back to Korea!

Today I finally felt brave enough to make a rice ball and I said how hard could it be? It was so hard!! I ended up just mixing it all together in a bowl lol I've wanted to make gimbap too and now I know that when I do make it, use the bamboo mat 😅 thank you and Merry Christmas to you as well!

When resting hot meat, there is a phenomenon called "carryover cooking" -- meaning it still cooks a little bit while resting.
