I just started listening to “The Last Shadow” by Scott Card and heard your voice in the first chapter. You sounded a little different from “Children of the Mind,” which I finished a couple of hours ago, so I looked up the time between the two books. Twenty five years. What was it like to come back to the story of Ender after so long? I can only imagine. I’ve listened to all of the other Enderverse books several times, but this will be the first time for ”The Last Shadow.” Thank you so much for your work-for sharing your artistic skills. You brought the characters to life for me. Best wishes!

Hello - Lovely and dramatic narration. However I notice the mispronunciation of certain French and German words, for example Maurice (not Morris; Maisie surely knows how to pronounce her mentor's name) and Fräulein (not frowline - especially when it is a German speaker) this bothers me a just a bit.

I listen to a lot of audiobooks and Mr Smith is tops as a narrator. I’m not sure the narrator gets enough credit. There are so many mediocre narrators that it’s a double pleasure to find a wonderful book (Gentleman in Moscow) read by an outstanding narrator. Bravo, Mr. smith! I look forward to listening to more of your narrations.

I love Moira Quirk reading Tamsyn Muir. If you don't like the series, that's fine, but from a craft perspective I suggest you read GtN and HtN. Also, if you like just good voice acting, Moira Quirk is phenomenal .

I am not usually a fan of audio books but your narration was captivating! I could not believe how easily you flowed from one character to another- each so different sounding! I can still hear your voice in my head a week after finishing the book!

I loved it so much!! You instantly became my favorite audiobook narrator. I want to steal your voice and put it in every book i read now. AI Make this happen for me. In fact I think I liked it so much Im not sure a live action movie adaptation would not do your voice justice. As I listened to all your different voice impersonations of each character I tried to match them to real life people I would like to be in the movie. Movie is confirmed for 2026 I think. Too far away imo.
