If it were coming from under the hood, i would say it's something with a vaccuum line, or the power booster.. out of the back? not sure.

Hey thanks for watching! With your issue I would recommend to first check the connections to the actuator and make sure it’s not shorting to ground causing that issue. Make sure the connections are not corroded and tight.

I have a cable hooked up in a secret location that will open the door if the battery dies. I have 2 batteries and I can get to the other one without opening the hood also. I also have a safety switch installed for if I were to lock the keys in the truck.

Hello, what was the cause of you changing the timing chain. Was it rattling or it just didn't want to run? I have a 95 Nissan pickup. Everything seems to be ok but it just won't start
@DinasGarage7 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching and asking! So my chain was rattling at startups and I had to reseal the oil pan when I pulled the oil pan I found the plastic chain guides s broken in little pieces in the oil pan. So I decided it was time to change the chain. For a no start condition, check to make sure you have spark first, then make sure your fuel is reaching the injectors. If those are all good then more diagnostic will be needed.

What size tires and wheels you running on your truck. I just bagged mine and have 17” wheels . Getting ready to buy some tires 195/40/17s With this setup should be no need to tub the front. Hey bro, I read the comments you wrote to another guy and you said your an old man. Well I’m 58 and you sure don’t look as old as me , don’t let people get in your head where you feel you gotta explain yourself. Keep your head up and keep on trucking!

You talk too much and you don’t show your work but you comment on other people’s videos sharing your unwanted and uneducated opinions if you think bagging the front of a torsion bar truck is hard then you should never bag the rear of a truck. Hope I didn’t offend you keep on minitruckin broooo
@DinasGarage Жыл бұрын
@shortsbbq thanks for the comment! I’m an old man and I worked as a technician for over 15 years after I got out of the Army and went to Desert Storm. I have always wanted a mini truck since I was 14 and now that my kids are grown it’s easier for me to do this… I have a hard time filming by myself and I have a degree from a university. I’m not uneducated… but I am learning a lot on my own from doing my mini trucks. I have bagged a few S10’s and the Nissan is my first torsion bar truck.. he just talks a lot more than me.. 45 min video and most of it is talking… he welded up a turbo for his neighbor? How’s that a part of the video? It’s not if the video is about body dropping the truck… I know how to body drop untraditional which just takes to raise the cab and cut the top of the frame off then install a strong box tubing into the frame and welding it up… traditional body drops lose head space and feet space and makes the truck cramp.. with us being older it’s hard and more painful to get into and out of a traditional body drop.. I figured he would do that because of the lack of space you get in a traditional body drop truck.. I’m not offended again.. I really appreciate you coming over and commenting on my video.. keep on Minitruckin! Brother! 🙏🏼🫡

I just replaced the chain on my '97. Now the chain rattle is even worse. It sounds like the tensioner isn't tensioning. I used an aftermarket kit from ITM. Could that be the issue?
@DinasGarage Жыл бұрын
I bought a tensioner from Martin Industries because the first chain I had did make noise. I purchased all the timing components from Nissan as the Aftermarket one I had , the chain was 1 link too long which caused the issues. Along with fighting the distributor and oil pump alignment. www.martin-industries.net/product-page/nissan-ka24e-self-adjusting-tensioner
