Mine died when I upgraded it to Win 10... about 60 minutes after I had upgraded the CPU to the 610e. I'm guessing I should of also replaced the grease on the northbridge but it looked fine. That or the 610e just generated too much heat that wnet into the north bridge via the heat pipe and cooked it. It just suddenly died while running during the upgraded, wouldn't come back, I reset the CMOS, tried everything to overcome the Amber Power light of death. Finally bought a new one today. Probably should of got the 32330 but who knows... they are both pretty obsolete junk by now. Perfect for the application I inted for them though. Wouldn't sue it as my main or only system tho.

Question!! If I disconnect my truck battery or remove the deck from the vehicle I lose all settings! Why is this happening? I was wondering if there is an internal battery in the radio/deck or is this just a sad fact? Seems ridiculous to remove the deck to avoid theft but upon returning the radio, you have to manually restore every setting only to lose them again should the device momentarily or over night lose power. This just can't be by design! I've been putting up with this for years now. I always leave it in my truck, but sometimes servicing my truck I have to disconnect the truck battery.

I too own a Logitech Squeezebox and have had it for several years. I also own Grace radios. I have never had a problem with the Squeezebox even using Pandora. I have however had problems with the Grace not playing some audio on Pandora and other apps. I must say that the Logitech Squeezebox seems to be more reliable at playing without having to rebuffer. I believe that both radios can have problems if something is going on with either the internet or your local ISP. So many things can go wrong that would perhaps hamper your radios ability to perform at a peak performance all of the time. I own several brands of Internet Radios and, they all have problems now and then. I believe your problem with your Logitech must have been a very rare instance for the brand. Logitech builds very dependable electronics and the Squeezebox is no exception. I own Pure and Cambridge Soundworks also and all of the brands have difficulty receiving certain feeds at different times. I listen to a station in the UK and it normally plays without a problem. However, when there is a problem, usually all of the radios have the same problem playing the station.So, it must be the station or internet and not the particular radio. The Grace Mondo is a copy of the Logitech Squeezebox. The Logitech does give you the option of using the older Squeezebox app or the updated version which some users do not like. I use Squeezebox version and I enjoy it very much.

Nexus player might only be WiFi only but it supports 802.11ac which the fire TV does not. Fire TV Ethernet is limited to 100mbps so nexus player is faster if you have an 802.11ac router. Which most people I know do.

Great Review, but the Squeezebox environment is another kind of system. It is a server-based multi-room audio-system. The Radio alone is just a nice internet-radio, but with the server and its plug-ins and services it is a lot more. So I think the comparison is not well elected. But in the end, the Echo is a nice device for another field of usage.

the 2305 has a known problem with the cd dvd reader. it had a bad cable that goes to the drive and causes it to fail. however its a $5 easy fix so don't freak out if it happens to you

"If you could put a computer behind your TV" Thats what Chromebox, and 100 other android type media players are. the other problem. is you have to have your computer and keyboard on your couch instead of a remote. as far as how fast it is, even with the Roku, most people can watch movies in HD with no problem, seamless... any extra speed you might have is not noticed. if you can watch a movie, uninterrupted, who cares ? There is some live steaming on Roku, but, there is a LOT more on some other boxes like Chromebox

I just got one of these and I hate it. I had the full intentions to root it and now I'm finding that they're bricking the boxes if you root it. I got a used box, but I assume it has the latest firmware. Can anyone comment on whether I should root this? I'm really considering sending it back and just getting a Roku 3, so I can at least have a competent search (not tied to Amazon Prime).

Hope you don't mind me asking this, but would you have to install the HD homerun software on each computer, or only on the main PC that you are using? I know you would have to install the Windows Media Center or Myth TV on each PC, I am asking this because I am seriously thinking about getting one of these HD Homerun units.

with all these streaming consoles, is there really any need to pay for cable each month? Even if a TV show appeared, as long as i have the internet and a computer I can still watch it on my computer. These streaming devices are extremely efficient and I believe will save tons of money a year on cable if you decide to ditch cable entirely.

Just to make sure I understood this correctly. You have to have a computer with Windows Media Center.. and your computer has to be connected to the TV in order for this to work? you did one hell of a customizing job on your FireTV. I have a question for you. What could I do to get the access to xbmc files on my FireTV so I can change the lines and whatnot in order to get my addons work again? Do you need to root your FireTV? Ive been doing a lot of research and cant seem to find a way to do it. The problem I have is my "subscene" addon is not working and the solution is to find the file service.py to change the line. I dont know how to do it on my fireTV. Please help me.... P/s: Are your sportsdevil addon still working? Been trying to get that but still no hope.....
