It's complete insanity that possibly the biggest e-commerce platform doesn't allow for sales/discounts showing in the product list/thumbnail and details view. While this method would work, what if you had 15% off these products and 20% off these and 50% off these? Not only do you have to go through this cumbersome before the sale, but you have to go through it again at the end! So stupid.

I totally get the frustration. Shopify’s limitations on this can be a pain. Here’s a workaround: Filter the products in the admin (by collection is convenient), export that selection, and then use the same bulk update process from the video. It’s still extra work, but it simplifies things compared to handling updating every product price & compare at price manually.

@@ethercycle Thanks for the response. I ended up finding the QuickEdit: Bulk Product Edit app through a forum. The paid tier is great as it does all this stuff automatically by collection and then reverses the discounts after a set period of time.

Can you edit/customize product ID? Can you search by product ID when creating POs and select specific variants that fall within that parent ID?

Hey - I used this method to set up a site wide sale for a client's store. Worked a treat. What's the best way to remove the sale now and get it back to all pricing pre-Sale (bearing in mind some new products have been added into the site since the sale went live a month ago)?

Thanks for sharing so much practical experience Greg! Been on the empire flippers newsletter for months and its proven a very valuable source of information. Gonna try out the app soon.

An easier workaround to this is bulk editing products on the shopify product page, in the bulk editor go to pricing, click on columns and add compare at price. Set the base price to what you want to sell the product at, and then set the compare at price to the price you want a strikethrough :)) click save. took me 5 mins for 50 products

A Beautiful Balanced Boss... Her Joy, Class, Humility, Articulation exude femininity which gets lost in the driver's seat of being an Feminist Owner Operator, CEO culture... A lot of women are struggling in this "Love" area...they say they know how to turn it (masculine energy) "off" but, clearly don't. Mia impresses me as a "Catch" ... she mentioned that "Heart Break" was one of the many things that had her slow down... obviously I don't know her life behind closed doors but, if her Lover was at fault... what shame...her Lover clearly fumbled "The Bag" and the "Heart in It"... I'm proud of you MIA and you don't know me from a penny on a Walmart parking lot. I am also encouraged that you told your Age... when you take care of yourself, telling your Age tells a story that paints a beautiful picture beyond the numbers! #Salute #MoreSuccess #My2Cents

I've never done ads either. I started in 2021- now. On Offerup then On Fb with 0 fb friends 🧡 only child, divorced with 3 children, my 2 cars broke down, got evicted, lost a child literally in 1 day. Then i began. We lived in a hotel for a while. 2022 had my 1st pop up event sold out. Came home with over 6k. Next 2 weeks did 10k on fb. Put every penny back into the brand. I made a website on shopify in 2020 that I still have, havent published yet. 😂 WORD OF MOUTH made me big quick. Great Customer Service ❤ with simply amazing products. I have genuine love for what Im making and love for the clients. Intuition. Selfcare. Knowing what i want to do bc its fun and I love it, not bc it makes money. 3 years in Ive gained a repeat client list of over 800 people. And its just me working. I recently started working with an existing warehouse with a small group of people to make some of my products to take the pressure off of me. I will have my own warehouse soon. ❤ this video is confirmation, so many similarities.

I got my audience first then introduced the products after. I tried to release the product first without the audience in 2021. No one listened 😅 I posted product photos only, nothing. Psychology is one of my 5 majors so i knew i was wrong, as soon as I posted a single photo of my Face the orders began to flood in. People need a face to go with the product ❤we're human.

With my small business I’m def trying to be at this level of CEO. Run the business behind the scenes. I’ve always been the driving force. The one who does everything but I’m tired lol. I’m ready for a great team behind me. It’s my time to delegate and make A. Marie one of the greatest black modest fashion brands in the world!
