There's a guy called Ross McGowan, has a KZbin channel and courses on Udemy. He has 4 courses on designing a CPU and its peripherals and I/O. From the logic gates to machine code, assembly language. He's working on a 5th course in the series to incorporate a floating point unit and other math functions into the CPU. All is done on logism and the assembly language abstraction is done using Excel VBA

Needs correction it is a misnamed for a Pikey Viewpoint Hill or a ridge, it is not a peak. Compared to high Kalapathar, Chukung-Ri, and Gokyo-Ri are not counted as a peak, whereas Pikey is just above 4,302 m and 14,114 feet high. Less height than Kalapathar, Gokyo, or Chukung-Ri which are above 5,000 m high.
