Weren't the production team basing Wentworth off of the original show, Prisoner: Cell Block H and the characters and storylines they had - just reimagined for modern day reality? Bea (from Prisoner) was bested by the Freak when she managed to get Bea transferred out of Wentworth. It would've been nice to see Bea win the battle with the Freak in this series, since she didn't in Prisoner. I did like Kaz as a character though and it did allow her and others to shine with Bea out of the way.
