I’m still waiting for the replacement starter to come in… it’s been 4 weeks and the car is still on stands :( make sure your local store has it before removing the old one lol.

if you left the insides out, it would just mix hot water with the cold... without any way to adjust, so it wouldn't work :(

@@fast-wheels What do you mean it wouldn't work? Would water not come out? Would water not still mix inside and come out? I ended up trying mine around like a plumber suggested and only cold water went to the tub. I actually purchased a brand new mixing valve put it on and adjusted and my water is still luke warm. I am so pissed. I am going to try to find a plumber that will by pass this POS completely. Brand new house with a soaking tub that gets luke warm?

@@KBradAdams That's weird. with everything connected, if you feel the pipes before entering the mixing valve you should feel hot in one side (CAUTION HOT) and the another pipe cold. If that's the case the issue will then will be your new mixing valve (likely a faulty unit, or it's not adjusted properly - but I'm leaning to the 1st case). What I meant by "it won't work" is by "removing the insides", it would just mix hot and cold water w/out any way to control it- so you would end up with a lukewarm mixture.

@@fast-wheels Oh That makes sense. Yeah both mixing valves produce the exact same temperatures when I adjust the top nut luke warm. I had 2 Plumbers who told me to reverse C to HOT and H to COLD or put the valve on backwards and it would bypass this but I did that and it did not work at all. I purchased a brand new valve and it does the exact same thing as the old one although this one is easier to adjust but still will not get passed luke warm water. I have another neighbor with the same issue, these are brand new town homes. The next thing I am going to do is try and adjust the red scald thing on the Faucet and see if it will allow me to adjust it at the faucet. I know there is an anti scald valve on that faucet but thought I had already turned it as high as it would go. Do you have any idea what would happen if I removed that red ring completely? @@KBradAdams I can't see how just flipping the H to C would solve the problem... (unless the hot/cold bypass valve was stuck, but even then, not likely to solve the problem). Each mixing valve is different, so I'm not sure exactly how yours works. Other things to check include the water heater temperature setting, and at times, there are other anti-scald mixing vales in the shower/washrooms as well.

As it turns out, it’s really difficult. I had to look for a while and found this low mileage 2 hours away. But totally worth the wait… the 3.0tt especially with a the sport driver’s pack and pano are super rare. They were a limited, low production model (2017-19).

@@paulo.andrade I found one at a good price too I test drive it today but the lumbar sides are hard as hell it was a bit uncomfortable I would have bought it but for the reason I wasn’t comfortable I didn’t buy it. Is there a way to change that or make it better?

@@AngelicusMaximus The seats are fully adjustable. You can access this feature under preferences, or simply by pressing the buttons on the side of the seat (by door). As a cool tip - you can tell if the seat has the massage feature, if it has a center button (around the buttons).

​@pauloa.4011 It was super difficult. I got a '17 with the pano and a 3.0 in July and it took like 4 months of looking to find one with those features+ low milage(36k). I got lucky that it also had the driver sport and climate package but unfortunately not the technology package. Still a great find but definitely takes forever

It's always a good rule of thumb to match o-rings according to the original (although sometimes they thin out over time). I did play around with a few sizes as demonstrated in the video... and I'm glad to report that the mixing valve has worked well for over a year since this rebuild (so I can attest to this).

I totally understand your hard time find a good Sport or 3.0 MKZ especially w the driver’s Sport pac and the lux pac… I was looking for a replacement for my Sport (lost in an accident) :( and couldn’t find one any closer than 8 hours from where I live and about $5k more than insurance was giving me :( Fortunately, because I was into the Sport, I knew what to look for on a MKZ… and was able to find it a 3.0 Reserve 2 a few hours away. It has the driver’s Sport pack, panoramic roof and it’s packed with all the safety, comfort and luxury equipment (basically a Black label minus the orange tan interior-but with the Sport pac black/white stripes and carbon fibre accent interior). Here’s what I learned from my experience owning both… the Canadian market Sports are all fully optioned… the extra power of the 3.0 (400 vs 325) makes a difference on how the car feels, however gas mileage is almost the same. Speaking about gas, both the 2.7 and 3.0 can use regular gas-as the computer tunes it down… it’s recommended to use good quality gas from a reputable station as they use additives that help with carbon buildup. A catch can should be added as well. I have a few videos of the Sport and the MKZ separately… I must say I love the MKZ for the extra power, pano roof and massage seats… but still miss my Sport-I loved that car. They are pretty reliable engines. As with most high-performance engines, maintenance is crucial. Changing oil regularly is a must. An oil catch can is helpful. The drive train is also of concern especially if driven hard, so PTU fluid change and regular tranny flushes are helpful!

Most Sport owners not only know all about but also love the MKZ 3.0tt... Most know that it has all good things of a FFS and it adds a bunch more to the platform--making it even better. It's interesting to notice that most car enthusiasts often don't know much about the Sport or MKZ 3.0tt... Both the Sport and MKZ's are not easily identifiable from their stable mates (unlike say the Focus RS, vrs ST or an SE for instance - which most folks can tell the diff right away)... In the Sport's case, there's only a few exterior (and not flashy body mods - e.g. front bumper, black grill, special wheels, badges, etc.), but at a first glance they look like any other (less powerful) Fusion model. The MKZ 3.0tt is even harder to tell apart (other than the rear 3.0 badge) as it shares it's styling with all other MKz's. A few clues are the darkened/charcoal grill and special wheels (but only if the car has the driver's package). Love them booth especially as "sleepers."

That particular model was a MacBook Pro 13 inch 2012 (custom order). Likely a power cord... you should be able to check it at a Mac store.

But either way the fusion jumped test. hit the tree on green. practice makes perfect . Just like on a pull at stop light. green go. I got you tho. But just pulls. Keep doing your thing! @@AmericasNextTopShooterA.N.T.S on a track the best way to get a good reaction time is to leave at the third light (yellow). When the front wheel crosses the beam, it will be either trigger a red light -which voids your run and you loose the race or green which was the case on this video… there’s only two options. If you he left on yellow it would’ve been red.

I like both designs... having first owned the 17 Sport and currently a 17 MKZ... in my opinion, the Sport has certainly a "sportier" design - we can see Mustang cues. If fact, the 2015 & up Mustang and Focus were certainly influenced by the Fusion design elements. The MKZ on the other hand, has a more luxury inspired design... (it's definitely more upscale looking with definite Jaguar, Mercedes & Audi cues).
