Thank you so much for this talk on light and shadow... Your voice is calming & your instructions are clear. Thanks...For my eye that left arm/paw of the cat seems slightly off kilter which I believe can be seen more clearly if you flip the drawing...

Excellent 👍🏻 And Also Just Subscribed 😊 one thing missing though in your piece is the similarity of the original expression of their character. In the original one it is apparent the mole has been caught doing something it should not have done, therefore the raised right shoulder and a raised left elbow (pulled up and back)… thereby that simplistic flat version tells more of a story than your one. The mole was caught out and therefore the guilty sadness in its face and body language speaks volumes. However even though your one is far better when it comes to tonal values and detail… your version has lost the originals narrative🤔 Also the use of line art is an art form in itself, and given that the original one was drawn by someone in asia where manga and anime art inspires their creativity, it would have been better for you to have developed the language of the line art itself… i personally feel this is where this artist piece was failing and the flat colours used in their piece was intentional and not what needed improvement. That said you piece is excellent and the explanation of using masks was also excellent 👍🏻 Thank you for this video🎉🎉🎉😊

Can someone tell me how sometimes they have an outline on their brushes when they use them.
@Beinkampdraws
@Beinkampdraws Жыл бұрын
For me it has always been like that. I suppose it's just the default settings. But you can adjust it yourself :) Go to the Actions Menu > Prefs and toggle on “Brush Cursor”. You will now see an outline of your brush shape as you draw.

I recently purchased your brushes...What are your pen pressure and sensitivity settings? I can never get my Apple Pencil to act in any way controllable. I see everyone using the pencil just like a normal pencil but it never works like that for me. I feel like I have no control over the brushes. I’m very frustrated.

Just a thought about the blue colour you chose at 14:57, probably because blue is more or less the complementary color of orange. When you mix them together, you will cancel the hues, which will results in a greyish colour and it will enhance the depth of area in the drawing. NICE WORK, thank you !

You can't tell me that u have to colour everything manually?!?!?.....is there no way i can fill colours like with a bucket tool? Every time i try it just colours the whole layer and not a specific part in my lineart.....makes the process tedious.

There is a way yes! You just drag and drop from your color palette. Either with your finger or ipen 😊 Back when I did this video I didn't know that was possible 😄
