Writing notes on the popup window rather than directly on a book does have the advantage that you have all the space you need, something you wouldn't have if you tried writing in tthe book's tiny margin.

The reason they don't let you write directly on regular Kindle books, is Whispersync (reading across multiple devices). If you write a note directly on a book on the Scribe.... then read it on a Paperwhite, or your phone.... the note won't be in the correct spot. They'd have to have some sort of notation that links to the note. I made this quick video a while back, utilizing the Kobo app on an iPad that shows the problem. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZaoYXRtjMppsKM

I bought the 16GB version, filled it up with a bunch of books and notebooks as well as some PDF to annotate and I have 11.21GB of 11.89GB of free space left (rest is used by the OS I am guessing). When would you ever need 64GB?

Most people do not need more than 16gb

If you want to read graphic novels or comic books or need to have lots of college textbooks - which not many people do on a B&W screen, you may want more storage. But even then, 16GB is plenty.

Thank you so much for this! I was looking to get an amplified, but most of them are the 2015 edition and i wasnt able to see which version this was online, so i was glad to see your thorough video on this stating it was the older version! I have a variety of different bibles from kjv to geneva, niv, esv, interlinear, septuagint, nlt, Jerusalem etc and i still have my TEV good news bible given to me when i left primary school 31 years ago. Ive got study bibles and all my bibles vary from brand new to pre-loved (with peoples inscriptions to the people they gifted it to, which is endearing to see!) Excellent Review! I have this Study Bible in paperback. I actually purchased this from Guide posts when I was purchasing the Prayer Bible (also paperback). I rarely purchase paperback Bibles, but both of these Bibles are well put together and the content is worthy of the purchase. I didn't realize I was purchasing the Study Bible you are reviewing, I was mainly attracted to the cover. Pleasantly surprised! I'm looking forward to more of your honest Reviews ~ NEW Subscriber!

The bible is a book written by men who never even met the people they wrote about (many many years after). It is also heavily edited by a church that had a power and politics agenda, eliminating a number of chapters. In addition, there isn't just one Christian bible - there are at least three with different numbers of chapters. There exists no provable, fact-based evidence to support any of the supernatural (spiritual) events in it. Thus, it is pure human belief - a human emotion and dependent on as many human thoughts as there are humans. To believe without factual evidence is like saying a court case should be determined by only hearsay or a feeling. It's hard to think God wouldn't hold humans to a standard that they hold themselves

Sorry for your confusion 😕 someone lied to you! The Bible is the word of God! Written by men but inspired by the Holy Spirit! Every word is trustworthy and true. Hope that helps, keep studying and keep praying 🙏 The LORD will show you what you need in His timing!

Science has long ago shown that a tiny DNA pool results in massive genetic deformations (specifically Adam & Eve's grandchildren). Evidence shows that Jericho was destroyed by an earthquake, not by trumpets. The ten plagues were accounted for by a volcano. Geologists have discovered strata that prove ancient floods were not worldwide but many of them localized in different areas. The miracles attributed to Jesus can be duplicated by magicians on You Tube (Xavier Mortimer, Magic of Rahat, Julien Magic, David Blaine - search magicians levitation). There is no evidence to prove dragons ever existed (Revelation). Two times (Gen 2 & 3) God threatens Adam that if they eat the fruit they will die. They didn't die. God lied. Whales, in general, are not capable of swallowing a human being. Blue whales and other baleen whales like it have a small esophagus that span only a few centimeters. A sperm whale could swallow you whole, but you'd pretty soon get digested in its four-chambered stomach, or suffocate from the lack of oxygen. God who is a mass murderer (I'm referring to the nearly entire population of the earth (est. 4 billion) by Noah's flood - as well as killing the populations of Sodom & Gomorrah, The firstborn Egyptians, the massacre of women and children at Jericho and the Egyptian chariot army).

The CSB is NOT an improvement to the Holman Bible. The only question for the study-Bible translation is- what are the differences between the Holman and CSB Apologetics Study Bibles?

Your video is one that I watched while trying to find a highlighter for my waterproof Bible. These work great! Note that not all the colors worked well. Some would ball up or scrape off. Enough of them worked very smoothly, though. 👍

I really like this Bible, it has very good sized print, not too small or too large, clear print that is spaced well. It is built to last and is only $40 to $50 dollars. I also like the translation because it is easy to read and understand. The overall quality is very good compared to other Bibles that claim to be large print but are usually smaller print. This Bible is very basic with no bells or whistles but it is line matched and has little ghosting that distracts reading, imho. The reviewer is spot on.

GOOD VIDEO ROB - MY WIFE AND I HAVE USED THESE MARKERS FOR YEARS (THOUGH OURS HAVE A THINNER CRAYON INSERT, BETTER FOR SMALLER PRINT BIBLES), THEY WORK GREAT!!! HINT/TIP; AFTER YOU HIGHLIGHT A PORTION IN YOUR BIBLE WIPE THE HIGHLIGHTED PORTION WITH TOILET PAPER OR A TISSUE BRISKLY FOR A FEW SECONDS, THAT WAY THERE WILL BE NO TRANSFER FROM ONE PAGE TO THE NEXT, NOR WILL THE PORTION THAT WAS HIGHLIGHTED FEEL WAXY OR STICKY!!!!!!! GOOD VIDEO, BRAVO, LORD BLESS!!!!!!!

I'm concerned about the ancient conception of the universe graphic, flat earthers will claim the bible teaches a flat disk shaped earth!

How about I send you some digital greenbacks and the next time you run across one of these hanging around your favorite bookstore for £30 you can just snatch it up for me. I’ll do £35 just to be on the safe side lol. Amazing find! I couldn’t even imagine stumbling across something like this for £30. Awesome Bible.
