Why different directions of the wheel?

I don’t understood why anyone wouldn’t be able to understand the instructions in this video. It’s the perfect demonstration on how to use the machine.

Had one, motor is not good, underpowered poor quality.Spring system for referencing on flutes is not positive. It is overpriced and , like mine, does not last long only okay for casual day.

You should do a video on dressing the wheel too, the manual is ok, but some detail is vague

Poor video instruction. Could have used close-ups. The written direction diagrams are too small for a first-timer to see. I know I'll figure it out after a couple of trials but DD could do much better than this.

@1:06, what's the point of the reference plate? Why not just have the plate in a position to hold the blade while in contact with the belt?

Question do you consider this system worthty for s30v steel? I have a benchmade but im not sure if i should sharpen it on it

A little confused. It says when adjusting the point angle, most twist drill bits should be sharpened on the plus + setting but the whole video it's placed on the center setting. Is the center setting for split points?

This video is not much better than the confusing instruction manual that came with the tool . He only really covers 'how to ' for a 118 degree bit . What is the alignment port setting for a 135 degree split point ? So much missing here !!

I have one of these for 8 years and I think it works very well

Love my KO Edition. I've had it for a few years now and finally got around to providing this feedback. I got all the bells and whistles; The blade grinding attachment, extra belts and I even snagged one of the tool grinding attachments before they retired it. I also got a leather strop and what can I say other than this thing has enabled me to hone the best edges I've EVER been able to attain. I won't bother with anything else because this bad boy really does the trick, and they can't make it any easier. I purchased a Darex Drill Doctor years ago, and based on the performance of that puppy I knew the quality would be great on this device, and no doubt it certainly it. The only drawback is now I get to sharpen the whole families knives. I had to brag about how sharp I get mine, right? Anyway, it's nice to see an American company come out on top for a change. Great Job Darex!

Great professionally made video but crazy how it ends so abruptly.

The video is worthless. No real detail, no explanation of why the 118 or 135, poor demonstration of the pawls, just plain bad. We are sure you know ALL this stuff. Good for you. (and I mean Darex, not the poor kid). No quality control by management. Actually I do not care if you know all this information. I care that I do not!
