Did you know the octopus is related to a sea snail or a clam?
@JimsUWPhotography Жыл бұрын
No I didn't. In what way are they related. I know they are a member of the cephlapod family which included cuttlefish and squid.
@billyb4790 Жыл бұрын
@@JimsUWPhotography right those are their contemporary cousins. The nautilus is one of their most ancient contemporaries. Back then they had shells. Clams and scallops were some of the first. Before then it was a flat worm. Cephalopods were on a completely separate evolutionary trajectory, with the octopus being the most evolved of its kind.

@JimsUWPhotography2 жыл бұрын
Hi Nicolas thanks for watching mate. The diving here is good year round with Feb to May being the warmest and often the clearest. You must dive on the high tide as there is far too much current to dive otherwise. I hope this helps

I was once out on the ocean and a diver surfaced nearby and shouted “Help! Shark! Help!” I just stood on deck, shook my head, and laughed. I knew that shark wasn’t going to help him… 😂
@JimsUWPhotography3 жыл бұрын
Hahahaha
@ExHanseat3 жыл бұрын
So what? If the shark had the intention to attac these divers, he could have done it long time before they noticed him and also on there way to get out. Was it hard to get the panic 💩 out of the suits? 😜😂🤣
@JimsUWPhotography3 жыл бұрын
Luckily this shark is a juvenile and therefore it's jaws aren't strong enough to attack anything large. SO we knew we were safe from a full blown attack. What did concern us was the fact that if it was curious enough it could have come in for a feel which in the case of a shark means it feels with it's mouth.
