2022 was the year a Miyazaki saved me as well Not hayao Miyazaki Rather Hidetaka Miyazaki,the game he directed i.e Elden Ring came into my life during a rough time. Infact i still play it whenever life goes rough. I was falling out of love with gaming,with hobbies,with life itself. But in a bleak world i found an ember that told me that a challenge can be overcomed if you bash your head hard enough. The coldest of worlds i felt the warmest hope. The starting area's ambient music makes me tear up occasionally. Art is a wonderful thing

I heard that Miyazaki once said that he aimed to make films that 'made people feel glad to be alive'. Watching any of his films proves that he succeeded with flying colours
