Me and my sister are experiments of how the outcome turned out for one sibling living with Mom and the other venturing out on their own. We are both in our early 30s. I stayed home but worked full time while my sister moved out of state to pursue post grad education. I had no student loans when i graduated school but I started working immediately with less than ideal salaries. Living with my Mom has allowed me to save a lot of money. My sister was able to make it with a high paying job after so many years in school but she is stuck paying off a huge student loan she had to take out. She actually hates her job and is miserable but doesn’t have the freedom to quit until she pays off her loan balance. I am able to prioritize who I work for to reduce unnecessary stress at the same time having a cushion that enables me to do so. When my sister tried to guess how much I saved she initially thought I had $50k in the bank, when I said nope more than that she was shocked and said $100k. I didn’t want her to know that I actually had $300k saved up so I just lied and stopped at $100k. My sister can be very resentful and I didn’t want her to complain how unfair it is for me to save that much money. My mother told us we have a choice, we can either stay or leave as we please and she chose to leave!

OMG! this was so simple to follow. I literally fixed one of my front microlocs while laying in bed watching this. Thank you for this! i was so conflicted on whether to call my locititian for repair and pay that fee, but this helped me so much. Thank you. 💚

I'm currently awaiting my licensure credentials in Washington State. I've been working as an agency affiliated State designated Mental Health Professional performing therapy for years. Credentials are not required to perform therapy in our State. Only if we want to operate in a private practice setting billing insurance. Love the video.

i just cut mine off (they were just reaching over a year of growth) and honestly i sometimes look back and regret it. but i was also having a lot of scalp issues along with buildup in my locs. im saddened by my loss but im excited to restart my loc journey again and fix mistakes i made in the past
