Mine is wobbling and I’ve tried really hard to make sure it’s aligned with the sandpaper, I’ve eased up on the pressure, I’ve gone slow, I’ve used different sandpaper, I’ve tried sanding by hand first and then using this. It’s just blowing sand everywhere, and wobbling while sanding + leaving pigtails all over

What grit are you using to start?
@Mcm415 минут бұрын
@@fixanythingsavemoney I’m starting at 60, trying to fix a butcher block that we’ve had in the garage. A house guest chopped so hard they left cut marks so deep… 8 hours of hand sanding divided between 2 days (at 60grit) didn’t get it out. Which is why I got this.

I have this drill and I am trying to hang window blinds with inside mounting and I am having the hardest time getting through the wood of the molding. The first drill that I used was a 116 and I thought it was a 1/8 so it was too tiny and snapped off in the molding. Now I’m using a 29 which I think is equivalent to 1/8 drill bit and I can’t get it to go into the wood more than a quarter of an inch

The torque settings are for screwing not drilling. Use the drill setting or hammer mode for drilling

Good tips! I should have mentioned that when drilling the torque settings aren't as important as when using it as a driver

Does the water to the house have to be turned off?
@fixanythingsavemoney2 күн бұрын
The main water supply coming into your house doesn't need to be shut off if you have shutoff valves under your sink. Just make sure you test the water is off to the faucet by turning the handles
@MrMathematics00va2 күн бұрын
@ thank you. My mom’s faucet is leaking & I have to go fix it. Last question, does the seal for that faucet configuration have a specific name or model number?
@fixanythingsavemoney2 күн бұрын
@MrMathematics00va when you get there and take it apart I'd take note of the make and see if you can figure out the model of it. You may need to take it apart first, get the model and take pictures of the parts and then put it back together for the time being so you can order the stuff. If you want help take some pictures of everything, let me know the make and model and I can help you find the parts! Email them to me at [email protected] and I'll do my best to help!

Can I check what type of cartridge to get before shutting the water off?
@fixanythingsavemoney2 күн бұрын
You can take off the handle and decorative covering to get a look at it but don't remove that bonnet nut or water is going to go everywhere. I highly recommend at least knowing where the water shut off is in case you have a problem. I'd personally just shut it off though.

I don't have one like that. Instead of a screw, there is a knob type thing that you turn. It is turned clockwise as far as it will go. Nowhere near enough pressure to flush. This is new, just replaced this week by the plumber who was here for a different issue.

Probably over a hundred comments from people that have had it work successfully. You sure it's adding water to the tank when you do it?
@anteoleonardi94137 күн бұрын
@ of course is adding water to the tank even before i was turning it clockwise, the problem is that has no flushing power and imagine when someone pee’s i need to flush it 2 times for the water to be clean and let’s not talk about the 💩 it floats it seems the wasting pipe maybe has no angle.

Sometimes they are stuck on there pretty good. As long as you're sure there isn't anymore hardware holding it on you may have to give it a little force. Before that you can always try spraying some wd40 on it
