I think the screw is stripped or something. I turned the Allen wrench for 40 minutes and it never got loose enough to come out. Help!
@fixanythingsavemoneyКүн бұрын
If it's stripped you can try using a smaller allen screw and seeing if you can get it to catch. First I would spray some sort of penetrating oil like wd40 in there and let it sit for awhile.

Hi . Just had a question .. When you trun on the compressor at what number the tank pressure should stop
@fixanythingsavemoney3 күн бұрын
Thats a number you set with the dial. Turn it to whichever psi you would like it to shut off at and it should kick off when it reaches that psi

This tool also came with a small washer/spacer in the pack with the blades. It's shown in the manual on page 2, Fig D, item 17, however there's no reference to those numbers in the manual. It fits between the inner washer and the blade. I assume it's for a different type of blade, but doesn't seem to be needed with any of the 3 blades that come in the pack. Any ideas?

I'm not sure when I get home I'll take a look and see. I'm sure it's for another blade attachment though

When removing the 8mm nuts, I use a telescoping magnet to pull from housing. Also use the same magnet to start the nuts when putting them back on. Also remove the entire starter/engine housing and vacuum out the entire area surrounding the carburetor. This makes it easy to disconnect\connect the throttle linkage and change the plug.

@@fixanythingsavemoney I've had worx for 6 years and I've never used them. Heck for 2 years I didn't even know how to use the saw hores like it was intended. I used to travel for work and remodeling stores. All I was looking for in a saw horse was a good flat surface because I cut and worked with 4x8 sheets of melon men boards and those worked great. I still have mine now and they've done over 50 jobs and still work great.

The newer Delta foundations models have the pres set temp peice too.With an 0 ring and a long shaft with a screw in the end. You take the screw out remove the shaft n 0 ring then adjust the temp.Im leaving the whole adjuster thing out.Just make sure your water heaters set to factory temps. You should be fine. As the water won't get hot enough to burn you anyway..

I have this drill and was wondering if you can use it on masonry?
@fixanythingsavemoney5 күн бұрын
This isn't the ideal drill to use on masonry. The best drills for this have a hammer function and are much more expensive. That being said if you get a good masonry bit it will probably work but it will just much longer than if you're using a hammer drill. Thanks for watching and for the comment! Have a great day!

@EmtiazAhmed-li1wz i would recommend it for tasks that don't require much torque. If you're using for setting drywall anchors and things of that nature it's perfect. In the video you can see that it had trouble drilling with the larger drill bit

My GE ice maker is working but it mainly just fills the bottom ice tray in the freezer when it comes to filling the ice tray in the door it seems like the ice gets froze up on the slide and I think the ice maker senses that the ice maker is full because of that. So twice a week I have to open the door remove the ice box and knock all the ice loose is there a fix for this
@fixanythingsavemoney10 күн бұрын
The mechanism that dumps the ice out into the bucket may be faulty. Replacing the icemaker may fix the issue but I honestly don't know. I haven't had this issue yet. I know the white lever is meant to turn it off when the ice fills up to a certain level so if the icemaker isn't dumping the ice correctly it is probably pushing against that lever

So I have one job to tackle - taking out roots from 3 bushes. Looking at this vs the ryobi you reviewed earlier. How do the 2 compare as far as size/weight, vibration and power? Which would you suggest?
@fixanythingsavemoney11 күн бұрын
Hi sorry for the delayed response! I have actually used a Sawzall for removing roots and they work great. i would personally go with the ryobi just because I think they perform better but at the end of the day if you already picked up this craftsman it is going to work fine for the task. Removing roots is going to destroy the blades really fast so I recommend getting the cheapest blades you can find! Thanks for watching and for the comment! Have a great day and good luck with your project. Let me know how you make out!

@@fixanythingsavemoneyNo problem. I actually went in a different direction. Lowes had one handed Kobalt model that came with a free 4 ah high output battery which I wanted. Also it’s brushless. I got two of the three out so far. Tool got hot but didn’t smoke and went through the 2 batteries I had. I was worried that the brushed models would have smoked. This one did overheat a couple times and I just let it rest for a few min. I see what you say about the blades wearing too. I was glad I got 12” blades.

Quite a bit of force is an understatement. Haven't got it in yet.Put some grease on the o.Rings. Maybe I'll report back if I got it in or pushed the wall over.
@fixanythingsavemoney15 күн бұрын
I ended up using a pair of channel locks and ended up breaking off pieces of it. If you can kind of rotate it a little bit while you pull that seems to help break the seal
@nofutureproductions924215 күн бұрын
Follow up. Success. I don't remember it being that hard to insert the new cartridge the last time I changed it. I used a towel; like suggested, and that helped. I guess the trick for me was not focusing on rocking the cartridge more from top to bottom with excessive force. I used med-high constant force while rocking it more side to side slowly with a little rocking vertically. I was almost ready to give up. Thanks!
@fixanythingsavemoney15 күн бұрын
@nofutureproductions9242 glad you got it out! Depending on where you got the new one from the package might contain grease to put on the o rings so next time it might be a little easier but I'd imagine it will still be tough.

How much torque is needed to put a chair together? I have the craftsman drill bits that comes with the drill also.
@fixanythingsavemoney16 күн бұрын
If you're using it to tighten the bolts on a chair i would use one of the lower torque settings. A lot of furniture is made with low quality wood and using a high torque setting runs the risk of damaging the wood. On things like furniture assembly sometimes it's actually best to use hand tools like Allen wrenches and screwdrivers so you can feel the pressure you're applying

What causes a toilet to fill up too slowly and how do you fix it?
@fixanythingsavemoney17 күн бұрын
There are a few reasons why this may happening. You're water valve for your toilet may be partially closed or your fill valve may be clogged or you may just have low water pressure. Is your water pressure unusually low?
