I’m an American Spurs fan, but I kind of chose Leeds for my second team when all of the Americans were on the team 2 seasons ago. Even though I don’t really watch Leeds anymore because all of the Americans are gone, I still tune into the Square Ball from time to time because those guys really run a good podcast.

What is premier league ready? Is he ready to play 3 promoted teams from his league and other bottom half teams..YES. is he ready to take on top 4 teams maybe not..but that doesn't mean you aren't premier league ready. We confuse the narrative and use this to stop kids progressing

The Eze deal is not smart from the clubs or the players perspective. Eze is 26, he wants to play week-in-week-out and he will cost in excess of 60m. He doesn't start for us; simple. Eze is a LAM, he is an inside left player. He is not a pure winger (i.e Brennan Johnson) which Ange likes. Eze would come in as a 10 not as a winger. He is a similar age to Madders so surely they have to play together. We can get Desire Doue for cheaper and a higher ceiling who can become club trained in 3 seasons. Honestly, I don't think the Eze deal gets done and it might be a blessing in disguise....

Please understand that Ange restructured and Coached our youth in Au before he coached the senior Au Squad taking them to the world cup and getting cheated out of progress in that tournament by the eventual world champions with a dodgy penalty given to Italy. There is no better coach to recognise youth talent and if they are emotionally and physically ready to compete at the top level. I truly don't understand the fan base wanting to undermine progress to justify their own opinions and past experiences, this is typically diagnosed in the mental health sphere as PTS. No doubt in the UK there are many available mental health professionals that can help reset individual expectations to realistic outcomes. I can not recall any successful campaign in history that relies on one marquee signing/ individual to generate success. Teams succeed with collective tivity. COYS.

I think Gray is a Great pickup for the future and for right now, along with Lucas Bergvall, I think alot of the divided supporter base will get better when we win a cup of some kind. I think Ange and the new support managers are going to be excellent with the new young players in particular. Just a point, have alook at Archie Grays DNA ! he comes from some of the greatest stocks going especially for Leeds Also Archie Gray has and engine and Ange football needs players to run for the full 90 min of the game

I believe Ange will pay young players if he thinks they are ready. Let’s hope Ange gets the time needed to mold a team that he can trust.

The set piece stuff is a little bit of a misconception for me. Spurs conceded approx. twice as many corners on avg compared to Arsenal and City, so it makes sense we’d concede more (albeit more than double Arsenal). Attacking-wise we scored less but got a similar amount of opportunities. So for me it’s a mixture of converting attacking corners at a greater rate and simply reducing the volume of corners given away. Factoring in Vicariò being fouled in a cpl of instances and it’s really not as bad as it seems. Good news is there’s room for some improvement rather than the other way around.

This is a great signing. People talk about a signing like this blocking our own youth players, but, the reality is we make this signing because Ange thinks he's an upgrade on what we already have. If he doesn't, we don't spend 40 mil.

Just looking at a spurs perspective on archie (as Leeds) I am absolutely gutted but getting rodon softens the blow somewhat. You have a gem there future England captain. Spurs I'm sure will only improve archie, remember he's 18.

18 years old which means he can become a club homegrown player for us. Excelled in the championship at such a young age. Covers 3 positions at a good level for his age and will only get better. Such a great opportunity signing, probably the most exciting U21 midfielder for England right now. For £30M with Rodon going the other way, it’s a 8/10 signing for me.
