Do you know what each color wire means on on the 6 pin connection?
@timwebster94866 ай бұрын
Solid red is battery +. Red /white is switched power. Brown is ground. Black is kill switch systems. White is start system. Not sure about the red/black

That mini stock class looks faster then the sportman, i wondered how fast they go on that track(mph)
@timwebster94868 ай бұрын
My top speed was 130 kph. 81 mph
@BruceHache8 ай бұрын
Wow that is fast for a 4cylinder
@mikehensley348610 ай бұрын
what did you do with the other red wire that is in the same position as the red/white striped wire? or are both of those wires red/white striped and connected to the solid red?
@timwebster948610 ай бұрын
If it’s in the same spot as the red/white, it should be the same colour. At least mine were all the same colour in each spot.

Thats a damn good view u can see way better then the go pro on the helmet but anyway CANT BEIEVE HOW MUCH THE TRACK HAS CHANGED IF ITS THE SAME PETTY RACEWAY FrOM THE 80s i been seeing it used to only have a wall on the front STRETCH

Thanks for the comment. Yes they have built a concrete wall all the way around the track now. Nice facility. Very fast.

@justinschwinn11364 жыл бұрын
did you leave the wire orientation the same as the 6 pin you showed? as in brown, black, red, red with black, etc or did you change the positions to match the 4 pin? im not getting power when i turn key, but it neutral light and everything comes on in start position.
@timwebster94864 жыл бұрын
Justin Schwinn no changes were made in colour. Just match the colour. If you don’t have power to the starter, check the white with red stripe if it has power when the key is in start position. Also check if there is power at the solid red.
@justinschwinn11364 жыл бұрын
@@timwebster9486 when wires hooked to same color, in on position light comes on and starter engages. it stays the same when turned to start.
@timwebster94864 жыл бұрын
Justin Schwinn somehow the white with read is getting power before it’s supposed to. It should only have power when the key is in start position. Try running a new white with red to the solenoid and unplugging the original white with red.

I appreciate comments on the videos I make, HOWEVER, it is not my intention to start negative streams towards a driver that may or may not have made a mistake during the heat of competition. I just think it's awesome to see the action I miss as the driver and give others a perspective they would not otherwise get. Cheers everyone.

@timwebster94867 жыл бұрын
thunder43dwayne I don't know if you drive a racecar or not but shit happens on the track that can't be seen by watching a video. To say that the 81 intentionally spun the 22 is not only negative, but completely false. The driver apologized after the race and sent out messages to several other drivers apologizing for ruining the 22s night and the rest of the field. If you notice in the rear view of the same race, the 81 doesn't make any attempts to pass the 22 for the rest of the race.
@thunder43dwayne7 жыл бұрын
wow that was some nice of him not to attempt to pass him again

cool.. sure brings back memories of Riverglade for me. Ever think of doing a split screen with the bottom half of the screen showing the forward view and the top half of the screen showing the rear view both at the same time.... that would be cool.... seeing Weagle on the outside at the bottom of the screen and then dropping off to the rear in the top screen....hehehe.

+DrDerpPlays I just don't understand your reason to talk about tech in this comment section. It's a very touchy subject. People get the impression you are throwing the "cheater" word around. Tech decides what will be acceptable for that night and only tech. If you have a personal stake in the results at the end of the night, and your not happy with techs final word, bring it up with tech. Not on my video comment section please. That's all I have to say about it.

interesting, I hear you shift in your video. What kind of car/transmission are you running? I was told only thing that will work at Petty is a Honda in 2nd gear with the computer changed so it doesn't hit the limiter.
@timwebster948610 жыл бұрын
At Petty track I use a DX Tranny.....At Scotia Speedworld we use smaller tires and rims. I don't have larger ones to make it stay in second and a toller second gear for the hydro tranny is hard to find and expensive when you find one.....We shift at Scotia anyway so it's not a big deal for me.

This video CLEARLY shows me giving the #5 car taps on the bumper to tell him I am faster and I am coming through.I backed off several times as he cut across my bumper. When we make contact, my hood is at his door panel and there is no car on his right. He chooses to cut me off rather than give room. That is HIS choise. He claims I went below the white line to pass him...I did not...He claims I cut his tire doing that but other drivers tell me they saw him drive over some metal during the second coution. That is what cut his tire. The stunt he pulls at the end of the race is childish and dangerous. Please let this be a lesson to all drivers. If you block and don't give room for faster cars you will likely get pushed. This is how I see it....I welcome your comments but please....no name calling....Keep it real.... I love Racing
