I adopted one of these dogs and looking to gain a deeper understanding as ive never seen one before, i live in England so its difficult to let her do what she would like to do which is wander a bit more free. She's very observant, noble and smart. She loves to watch the trees for squirrel's and barks when she spots them moving in the trees, she even eats them if we come across roadkill she had one today i brought home for her was all gone in 10 minutes even the tail. Such an expressive dog but i cant help feeling she is sad because she is not doing what she was born to do. Oh well, i will keep trying to enrich her life the best i can. Thanks for the film! Carpatinul este cel mai frumos dintre ciobănești românești și printre cei mai frumoși dintre rasele de câini ciobănești din lume. Sunt câini de turmă, de talie medie, câini ușori, agili, care trăiesc în medi extreme, însoțind turma de oi zi de zi, în transumanta prin ploi și zăpadă, de multe ori flămânzi. Au fost formați și selectați de ciobani pe criterii de utilitate, pe criterii numai de ei știute și au format un anumit tip de câine care îi era de folos în lungile drumuri de transhumanta unde ziua le erau tovarăși de drum iar nopțile lungi erau ochi și urechile lor.
