Love your Rhapsody makes Christine. I got out the Rhapsody pattern only this morning as I wanted to try it in August. I was thinking I’d make a top but your dress version is gorgeous! Thank you for all your sewing tips in making these. Really appreciated 🤗

Your top looks lovely on you. When you showed your dress on, I was blown away! You look fabulous! Jeanine did well sending her tried and true pattern. It sounds like it worked out very well for you.

Both your top and dress look lovely on you. Thank you for sharing all your thoughts on the pattern. I really enjoy your Busy Bee challenges, they are very fun to watch. Can't wait to see what you take on next.

The top is very nice but that dress is stunning.

Hi Christine! It's so funny hearing you call your dress form 'Rita', since that is my name. I love it, haha! The changes you made to the top for the dress version made me fall in love with it! I absolutely think the dress is stunning, in design and fabric. I've only had one flop with Love Notion Patterns, and the rest have been pretty successful. They are very generous in their included options, just like your top and when you subscribe to their site, you also get offers on new patterns every Friday for $5 USD.

Beautiful Makes! I love the dress you are wearing, what pattern is it? Thank you.

Beautiful top and dress, perfect style for you. Do you think the top would suit a cotton fabric? When I first saw you, you really reminded me of someone and I couldn't think who. Then a light bulb went off this morning! It's Lulu, the British singer. I think she is so pretty, especially in the movie To Sir With Love!

Lovely top and dress, thank you for the tip on needles and forming tape, I have never heard of it but looks a fabulous solution for floaty fabrics.

The top looks lovely in that fabric. And the dress is great with that neckline. I agree the v-neck is fiddly. I made my first Rhapsody as sleeveless in a double gauze (and the binding was not easy in that fabric!), but my next one was going to be that long sleeve with the flutter. I have some lovely viscose challis that I think would be perfect. It will be for a special 'do' later in the year, and I might even consider the dress rather than a top. I must try and get some of that spray starch.

Sorry Christine I like your friends better only bc your fabric looks so wintery and I’m sitting here in 32 degree weather 😂

I didn’t think I would like Christines version purely because I wasn’t keen on the fabric but it looks gorgeous. I think I would use the smaller check all over if I made it though. I LOVE Stephs version too. I’ve had the same fabric in my stash forever and I just can’t find a pattern I love enough to make it up 😂 Great job ladies, it usually takes me 6 hours to cut my fabric out, never mind sewing the garment 🤷🏼♀️ 💞💞

I love them both equally, they look good for different occasions. Christine’s is much more casual & Steph’a one looked a bit dressier but they both look fab on you 😍🤩

I prefer Stephs dress because of the material, looks a better fit, firmer somehow. Sorry Chris, think double gauze is not the material for this particular pattern, despite all your efforts

Hi Christine and Steph. What fun, even if it did take six-plus hours. I like them both and think they would both be good as a kind of duster overtopper. Both the double gauze and the synthetic fabrics would be good as a top layer, providing a bit of warm when you need just a bit extra as it's getting cooler. I'm glad you had such a great time together, Antonia

I'm tending to agree with most people, one is lovely and summer and the other more winter, but what is missing in Steph's one is not seeing the pattern definition, where as Chris yours does show us the work that's been put into it, but well done girls on a unique vlog of making the same thing and having fun doing sew regards Diana from NZ 🎉🎉

I love them both, but Chris's purple one is my favourite (probably because the fabric looks so soft and cosy)!
