Is a ELD required now or can paper logs still be used?

On non computer trucks from the 90s and before you can use paper logs. For anything with engines probably 2000 and newer unless there's some specific exception, you must use an ELD. And it's the year of the engine and whether it has a computer or not that determines this, not necessarily the year of the truck. Like a newer glider truck with an older non-ECM engine would still not require an ELD.

If you have to teach how to properly install a load lock, they probably shouldn’t be driving. Your example wasn’t shrink wrapped and not in center.

If you on the road and your ELD isn’t working how do you get a letter from the company. Inspection is supposed to be on drivers side window. Never n 45 years has anyone asked for a copy of the driving regulations.

What does it take to get a job there? I have 34yrs Experience, 0 accidents or DUI, never failed a drug screen, have a passport, have a 1 million safe driving award from JB Hunt, a 10yr safe driving award from them, also a top performer award from JB Hunt, but was told by your recruiter that because I left Continental Express without a notice, ( which is B---S) I do not qualify. So please let me know what it takes to work there??

@@masttruckinginc2604 , I did, not personally but, on messenger, and he said the job history was not the problem, it was the no notice to Continental, which is really funny because about 2 months later, they contacted me, wanting to know if I would be interested in coming back to work for them.
