I have seen a few of these new Tritons here in Tagaytay. Looking at them go, they seem to effortlessly scale the heights here. ☺I love the design especially the interior.😍

Yeah Mitsubishi has really stepped up their game! The bi-turbo of the Triton makes power come in early in the rpm range, so you don't need to really step on the throttle too hard to get going.

Why are they keeping such a cool design out of the US? it would do good by replacing the 10 year old Outlander sport. They may have to put the 4B40 engine for the US market though.

It could be the market. It would definitely need a 4B40 there haha. Here in ASEAN countries, on our tight roads, the Xforce is just right. But in the US, this car would be too small I think.

You could probably squeeze more mileage by ensuring no vac leaks, rebuild/clean injectors, new oe maf sensors.

I’m curious because I kinda want to switch from a civic ek to a e36 how are the parts and maintenance for a e36?

Parts are a bit more expensive but still reasonable. If you're building a Civic on a budget, the Civic will be cheaper. Pero if you're building a proper Civic, then it'll probably be the same costs. Though BMWs will be cheaper than building JDM RWD cars.

Don't you have a welded diff on this car? how does it feel when chasing lap times in comparison to having it stock?

I have an OEM BMW LSD on this one! Welded diffs are kind of bad for time attack unless you retune your whole suspension around it.

Though I have driven a welded diff time attacking. On a car with not much power, it will mostly refuse to turn on the turn in. Then the engine bogs during mid corner and exits. On a car with power, it will understeer going in, and oversteer too much when exiting when you start to apply power.

Godspeed..to your wallet in taking care of this timeless e36. Kidding aside. They have aged very well and is worth every maintenance it needs. But as someone who previously owned an e46, within 3 years I have spent as much as on maintenance as much as the car when I purchased it. My advise is to learn to DIY. Watch M539 restoration videos. I could've done it if I didn't have kids. Mine was also the best example I could find in, and it took me one year to find a good example.

This is the best car show that I have attended in a while. The cars are awesome. I especially love the red CN9A Itasha. That car has a certain personality to it. It expresses pure passion for EVOs and anime.
