Hey Peter! So my 12 highlander is doing same mysterious water floor issue right now. The funny thing is my passenger side is the side that tends to be much more soaked, I only realized it yesterday and it was so bad that water was starting to pool over the rubber floor mat! but it is even making the floor in the carpet right behind my driver and front passenger seat, wet, last night I probably sucked over 4 gallons of water out of the carpet with my vacuum! what you did in this video did that fix your problem or has it come back since was it something else? Any need help and answers are extremely appreciated. Thank you.

Maybe a bigger tractor that is 6 ft.wide could be a lifesaver. Just a40 hp Massey is 6 wide and not a lot more money. The R-4 on it gi v es a WIDE stance. When I was in Maine I saw a lot of 8N Fords with tracks that really looked stable. I've never seen that track kit in the midwest. Must be Yankee Ingenuity.

@@tlm3574 These tires are wider than R4s and have more volume for holding fluid so they're heavier

I use the turf tires because they don't tear up the lawn as much on the rare occasion I drive on the grass. Try to keep of it because it compacts. I've got a couple sets of chains for different applications, these are my mud chains, I have a different set for the winter months that are grippier

Blasted all the goop that was clogging it back into the same gross area inside the HVAC housing that the goop came from to clog that line in the first place. The real soulution is to pull apart the cover below the glove compartment, disconnect the drain hose from the bottom of the catch pan housing and shop vac that hole out. Also pull out the cabin air filter while you have the glove compartment removed and see if it's full of crap. Sometimes mice get in there and chew holes in the filter medium and cause debris to pass through, exacerbating the problem.

All great ideas , but there is one way to prevent roll over that i learned many years ago and that is DONT go on hills. i was carrying a load of gravel down a hill and had to negotiate a gentle left turn as the front end dipped to the right , the left rear wheel came off the ground and i was going over until i noticed i could jamb the bucket into a big oak tree .it worked , but iNEVER overloaded or went on hills after that . Obviously not practical for most ,so my method is pretty much worthless .😂

Algae is a good sign your pond is healthy. There is nothing wrong with algae. Yes if it starts taken over the pond like string algae than you have to try to remove some of it not all of it. You can also add beneficial bacteria to the pond and more floating plants. Iris along the pond banks will help balance out the pond. It takes time put with more plants it will help any algae problems.

Loaded R1 tires and mowing up and down slopes is how I roll. I don't trust spacers, they put too much stress on Kubota's skinny axles.

I am in Australia. I am a biodynamic Horticulturalist. Good ph. Moving water may solve your issues. Set your pumps up so flow occurs at the shallow end and water is directed to deep water where your aeration occurs. A extension or pump addition is easily achieved by the use of 75mm PVC pipes with 25mm hole saw cuts to direct the flow of water around the dam. An endemic, legislated and non obtrusive aquatic species helps, here we would use yabbies (crawfish) or small native fish. Barley straw is a great addition, it is often used on golf courses to clarify ponds. It has been my experiences that the bale is best to be wrapped in fish netting and cast to the centre of the dam. With a rope attached every three months retreive the old bale and replace with a new one. Barley straw also creates habitat for native species of frogs. Frogs are a great indicator of aquatic health and the sites sustainability in the long term. I hope this long message was of help to you. Nick B.App.Sc(hort).

Why do you have your chains on with the cross hooks facing in? The hooks should face outwards so they don't cut in to the tires.

Cool setup Peter! I am doing a pond next. P.S. Never Saddle a Dead Horse. It means to never apply the saddle of the clip to the dead end of the rope. 0:47 These look like they might be upside down. Also, 3/8's requires 6-1/2" of turn back length with 3-1/4" spacing. just in case

The way ive done this, useing a 6 inch siphon to suck up the mud. Kind of like how a gold drudge works, just instead of pay dirt, mud from the pond bottom.

Does it matter which side of the mower you put the rope? I’ve seen some people do the other side and add a board to the opposite wheel to make it stop turning. Not sure why. Any ideas? Did you do that also and it just isn’t shown?

First of all the Kubota is a real tractor. Secondly, looks like he made a mistake with the chains - live and learn. Third thing, you have a dick attitude.
