Honestly for all their talk of being the same, I think Sephiroth is more of a Sideous than a Vader... Or worse... Sideous if he decided 'Y'know what? If you want to do it right, pick up a sword and do it yourself.' If anyone is Anakin/Vader in terms of similarities, it's Cloud... except, y'know, he didn't go on a murderous rampage and slaughter kids so morally speaking still a better person than Anakin.

I just noticed something. Both of them had (almost) similar lives. Both of them were slaves They both joined the good guys They both turned on the good guys and both became bad guys They have more power. Not to mention they were the chosen ones for something

@@Tahkaullus01 however,story wise, they were considered the chosen ones. With Darth Vader/Anakin bringing balance to the force and Sephiroth thought him as the chosen one to rule the planet

@@jonathanflanagan1504 Definitely, because you don't even have to go out of the series to find a more evil villain than Vader, look at his master. Sephy and Vader are DEFINITELY some of if not the most iconic though and deserve it 100%.
