I'm not sure if you now know this, since this video is a couple of months old, but there is an explanation for the outrider situation. Iirc, there used to be a team of outriders led by Amber's grandfather. But one day he disappeared and the rest of the team just fell apart, so by the time Amber became one, there were no others left. I do like the headcanon, though!
