Why did you two make soo many kids One kid costs like $100,000 dollars from 0 to 18 years You don't have the Money or Time to babysit that many kids after 8 hour sleep, work, cooking, shower, working on to do list etc

It’s funny because I live in Indiana which is the roundabout capital of America so it hits different that it’s not a norm anywhere else in the U.S.

Hey there, my first watching your video. This is very informational. I have always wanted to go to Spain. So appreciative of this. Since I do not know your history, why are you moving back to the States and what what made you move to Spain in the first place? I live in WA state and I have been seeing a lot of round-a-bouts being constructed but then again you get stupid drivers who does not know how to use it 😩 I was in Italy back in ‘99 and they already have these all over as well as Smart Cars. US is way behind on these.

Is the pricing for a flight, roundtrip, still the same? We may be stationed there but the other day I googled, for a family of 5, it was $800-$1000 from Rota to Paris... 😕

Watching this again after nine months of living in Spain, it totally hits different :] Love it here. It's not without it's annoyances but the downsides of USA are untenable. NEVER going back!

Thank you both for educating me (and I'm sure so many others) about life in Spain. Are you folks still living there? My wife and I are giving living in Spain a thought. Right now we're living in the expensive California and since I just retired, we need to move somewhere that our money can buy more, which looks like Spain can be that place.

In this life you will receive what you give, I have sometimes received bad treatment in the United States but something happened one day. My wife and I took the bus in New York when I went to pay the driver told me that he did not accept money, I asked him how I should pay him, and he told me that I will get off the bus, a lady paid our tickets, shee explained me that before getting on the bus I had to buy some tokens, I tried to give her the money for her tokens but she refused, from then on any American would receive from me the help that that lady gave me.

Spain was NEVER occupied by Morocco, Spain was occupied by the Omeyan Caliphate from Syria (not only Spain, all north africa and some other places in south of Europe). Anyways not all Spain was occupied...I was born in Asturias, we were never occupied by the Omeyan, same with the Basque Country and Santander.

Thank you so much for posting this video . I’m visiting Spain this year and I’m very excited . Two things - One . Since you’ve been there 3 years , have you picked up the language? My main purpose for coming is to learn the language. Two - where are you guys from in the States? I asked because we absolutely DO have Round Abouts, and I hate them !!!! They are super confusing . I don’t think they have them up North … but in that South they do !

This is valuable information for us, my husband is retired from the Navy and we’re looking into moving to Europe.. Now, do you think that as a retired military family, being near the base is a plus? You mentioned you would like to retire in Málaga. So, maybe is not such a big deal having the base nearby (we thought that maybe being able to have access to the grocery store on base would be an advantage), but for what I’m seeing so far, it seems that Malaga has more to offer than Rota, maybe? -. Would love to know your thoughts. :).

Rota is a Spanish base. It's not an American base. Because of that they dictate the rules. Vets cannot use the commissary or nex. You have to have orders in order to use them. That being said, you don't really need the base to live in the community. We love the beaches on the Med. We love the English private schools. The travel is amazing. Break from the US and live. It is easier than you think and the lifestyle is freeing. Go for it!

Is there someone here who has 2 passports? Like as a Spanisch passport and another from a european country? Or do you lose your Spanish passport auotomatically when you get a German Passport? I am a German with a German passport and have a Spanish mother. But i only had a passport until i was 3 years old. I heard you lose your German passport when you ask for a Spanish passport. Thank you for your nice video.
