Thanks for the vid. Does this camara uses the motion detection just for the alarm and light, or it also self follow the movement?

Thank you for your question, the self-follow feature of the camera will be available in late September or early October, and you just need to upgrade the firmware to use it at that time.

The thing won’t connect wirelessly or wired to my network. It fails during the “detect network security config” and during the wireless detection every time. I’m sure they’re on the same 2.4ghz network. The lights are indicating proper working order.

Dear customer, 1. Please connect your camera to Wansview Cloud APP at first and make sure the camera is online. 2. Please go to your Alexa APP and log in to your Alexa account --- menu button --- Skills & Games --- search "Wansview Cloud"---Enable to Use --- login to your Wansview Cloud Account -- the Wansview camera will be linked with your Alexa. 3. Then go to the Device page of the Alexa APP --- click+---choose [Add Device] --- select [Others] ---then Alexa will start to search all the online cameras on Wansview cloud app. 4. You can add all found cameras to Alexa, but one time can only add one camera. After that, you can click [Devices] ---[ALL Devices] to check all cameras. 5. Please note that the live feed will be available on the Echo show device, not on the Alexa app.

Thanks for the video. Can I power on this camera from POE switch? Do I need to use POE splitter? Unfortunately there isn't any AC socket near by.

As of the moment, we control 2 camera but think there is a possibility of controlling 4 or more cameras. We hope this helps you

How long is the power supply

The power supply was around 6-8 feet, we ran the power supply to the inside and commented them to an extension cord. Hope this helps.

Thank you for takin the time to watch our unboxing video. Your response is very important to us and appreciated. To respond to your comment, the reason we used the wall anchors is because they came with the packaging and were part of the installation process. We wanted to give a full step by step process to installing and securing your camera. The anchors may not have been needed but added extra strength to this particular camera when installing it vs the 2nd camera we installed around the back of the property. All in all, you can install the camera how it best suits you, but we recommend using all the necessary parts during installation. Thank you
