The Bloom-struck hydrangeas are amazing. Planted them in my front garden and we get compliments all summer long. Hardy, no fuss with lots of blooms! 😊

Our Twist & Shout is over 10 years old - after a hard freeze, the leaves are still there but all wilted. The plant is over 3 foot tall and looks unsightly if I don't cut it down - but then don't get flowers the following Summer. (Midwest)

fyi, don't trim them in the spring or you will be cutting off the buds, they flower on previous year's growth

They are an impressive Hydrangea, I have two. I've gotten red flowers and in more acid soil gorgeous dark purple! No pastels in this flower, all deep and rich in color. The foliage and stems are outstanding also.

Nice flower. How long does it take time to grow from seeds?
@ripmart4 жыл бұрын
Hi. These are hybrids and would not come true if grown from seed. You have to propogate with cuttings. Martin

I have purchased this An am looking forward to keeping it for years but I’ve not putting them in ground we have clay soil when we have rains an little to no shade I’ve potted them in huge planters until I can prepare a bed that might allow them to live here, putting in patio shaded areas with morning sun an some in location of about four hours . I be planted Niko Blue losing them after first year growing cutting s that thrived then planting an same old thing the clay soil holds water roots rot An death occurs so I’m going to continue this patio method until I can see how my progress goes. I planted pegged trees had them last two years then same slow drowning occurs so I believe my option is huge pots that are watered as needed draining them and praying this works for me as hydrangeas are one of my favorites.

I have 6 of these beauties. I would like to know how and when to prune. Mine is also spindly and is falling to the sides with the center open. I suspect it was because of the HUGE amount of rain we got in the Chicagoland area this spring. It isn't staying mounded.

I have one in my garden, planted it last year. I bought a tiny one, and now this year it's more spindly than full like yours. Will it fill out, or should I be worried. I live in zone 6, in southern Ontario. I don't want anything to happen to this gem, as I can't find them anywhere locally.
