I’ve been doing fencing for the last 3 years. I just teamed up with a company that charged 15k for a fence REPAIR. Through insurance. My mind was blown. He only gave me half the know how, so here I am researching. Thanks for the video !

Thank you! It makes sense to me know that whenever I contact my insurance agent he wants to take complete control over who he sends out to inspect my roof or where to go to get my car repaired. His roofing company admits to hail damage, but doesn't think a claim is justified. So after wind damage later, I call same four companies who all agree wind and hail damage and the recommended insurance companies contractor has the slowest response to me. But three other reputable roofing contractors were quick to respond. When I emailed my insurance agent I get a response that he is on a golf outing and will get back in a few days. Hmm? Funny, the insurance companies contractor told me the last time he saw my agent was at a golf outing. Definitely a partnership not helping the policy holder, but helping the insurance agent and contractors!

Sounds like you've lost business after dealing with Ladder Now because you didn't agree with their findings. Why not reach out to the company and find out about the issues you have with them (being licensed, etc)?

Also, are you a licensed adjuster bro? Because if you are still in business and you aren’t I’m going to be looking into contacting an insurance board investigation because you are speaking as if you have an adjusting license which would be insurance fraud…

Thank you so much! My insurer initially wanted me to have an “approved” contractor take the sample and send it in. After reviewing ITEL’s site, I found the instructions for homeowners to collect and send in the sample. Insurance company is letting me, which saves a lot of hassle. Now I know what to do after I get the report, putting some power back in my hands. My house is sheathed in untapped cellotex so that is probably going to be a code issue as well. Can barely hold a nail as it is. Cheers 🙂

I have been working with Rob For about a year now, and we get along well. He and I both have a long documented history of doing good work. Now that Sharpe Roofing Is reaching out nation wide to help those in need of Commercial Flat Roofing and Sheet Metal we are a good compliment to each other with his Residential and Decades of drone experience and my 35 yrs. of knowledge of the roofing industry as a whole from Restoration Claims, Municipals, Commercial Industrial, Nuclear, Government, Ever changing codes, laws,, Policies, etc. Right now its just nice to be affiliated with another that knows what he is doing, and SHOWS UP AND FOLLOWS THRU ! Thanks for the informative video, I am going to add this to my new library of "ALL THINGS RELATED TO ROOFING THAT I HAVE USED AND RECOMMEND"

Are contractors able to negotiate an ins claim with the insurance company?
@ClaimsMaster
@ClaimsMaster 4 жыл бұрын
That’s a tricky question. Contractor are allowed to talk about all items needed to do the construction. Make a line item estimate using xactimate. If the insurance company is unhappy with you price, you can go over the estimate and see if any items can be removed from it.

We are trained pretty rigorously actually, and we don’t make coverage decisions. We just gather data from the loss to assist the adjuster so they can apply coverage. When we are out there solo we just try to paint the picture of what’s going on as best as we can. It’s not illegal. With all due respect..
