One of my favorites. I think I’m going to use it to read the entire Bible, including commentary so excited about a 3 or more year journey.

I'm back for the 3rd time to get a refreshing as you go through your notes.

You are the first person I have heard say that they love Deuteronomy! It is an excellent Old Testament book that often gets overlooked. I have a very different color coding system, which also includes a few symbols. I first learned a system when I took the New Inductive Bible Study system, Precept Upon Precept by Kay Arthur. Back then, in 2002, I had only ever used the KJV and the NKJV, so when I bought the NASB that was used in her teaching, it was a difficult transition for me. However, being an OCD woman, I learned and used every symbol and color in my Bible. Needless to say it became overwhelming, to say the least. I still have the colors ingrained in my brain, but I have really trimmed down how I mark my Bibles now, and it's a much easier system for me to use. I only recently started thinking about using a Bible for a specific purpose. Like one for prayer and one for promises of God, attributes of Christ, etc. (yes, I have that many Bibles!). My comfy Bible is from the 90s and is falling apart now. But it's the only survivor of my early walk with the Lord and it clearly shows how my study notes and markings have changed over the decades. At the moment I have been waiting to have cataract surgery so I can once again read the smaller print that my older Bibles have. I loved seeing everything you have done in this Bible. It's wonderful to see a young woman so deeply in love with the Lord. God bless you.

I love this video and seeing how everyone uses their Bibles ❤ I'm looking forward to see how you use your other Bibles especially the Blue Bible so I can get ideas to do with where I want to place God's Attributes and all. Your blue Bible will give me ideas I'm just reading my books and highlighting but I don't have a desire to put them in a Bible yet. God is telling me to stay in my go to Bible more lately and sometimes I jump around Bibles and use them differently it's so much fun, loving and filling spending time with the Holy Spirit in God's Word in anyway. ❤❤❤❤

I’ve been watching quite a few videos of yours the last week or so ever since a video about the Bibles you received from Amazon appeared in my feed. It’s refreshing to hear conversations like this. As I’ve very recently gotten back into relationship with God, the book that has been placed on my heart is Revelation. I started reading it last week and I’m definitely taking my time with it, so I wouldn’t mind joining along with this study.

Excellent disclaimer for the Dake's Annotated Bible. The same applies to all Study Bibles that have commentary included by specific authors, such as MacArthur, Schofield, Evans, Jeremiah, etc. It's helpful to be able to read what educated scholars have to say, but discernment for the reader is #1, so a baby Christian must be very careful to pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit when reading the Bible, and if something isn't clear, put a pin in it and move on. Oftentimes, the Bible will interpret itself. After you have a more firm foundation, then finding out what the others have to say is great.

I’m hesitant to purchase this type of Bible because like to said you have to be careful with he annotated in the Bible that is off and I heard that from a few people that said that. As a Christian we have to know to discern the word of God and what is not the word of God. I would purchase because I like the symbols that is used for each Bible verse such as the command, promise, prophecy verses to reference from.

I need a new bible and rolled upon you in KZbin and your title caught my attention and I looked up the Dake Bible. Now I am thinking about this. Not sure yet. Thank you for showing this Bible. Thanks
