My dad built the garage in 1964 with a couple of friends. It's great seeing inside the house I grew up in from birth to 18 years old! So many changes, but not the garage. My dad did a great job!

Any time a tree in a situation like this (or, for that matter, anywhere) shows progressive leaning (measured, in this case, by numerous collisions by tall vehicles), it shouldn't take a tree expert to know that it is FALLING, albeit SLOWLY. The apparent utility trimming on the opposite side, not for the health and stability of the tree, but for "administrative convenience," resulted in an unbalanced crown with nearly ALL of the tree's stem/trunk and crown weight on one side. Which side? Guess.

These homes are ruining that section of Forest Hills, where homes had some architectural harmony until the “bash and build” developers came in and built McMansions with walls (really neighborly, huh?), paved over every square inch of the property (so that there are regular floods on the streets during heavy rains because there is less aquifer to soak up the water) and created architectural exteriors that reek “we are a castle behind walls, stay away!”.
