I live in Airdrie, and the lights r way longer then what u r showing. A person can literally age while waiting for them to change, they r THAT long!! 😎

every light takes 30 seconds to change nation wide unless its late at night when the sensors turn on. only on big intersections to lights last 45 seconds? Dont believe me? count next time your at a light. They don't take forever they are absolutely normal and yes I live in Airdrie since 1997 I remember getting our first traffic light

Why are there no trees in the streets??? How dry and grassless is it?

Great question, a combination of road salts in winter and dog urine are killing the urban tree population. Most of the established residential areas of Calgary are full of mature trees. However, the newer developments also have young trees lining the boulevards.
