When you squish the foil, some the bleach sticks to the foils. By the way, they make a new comb that pulls the small sections out for you. The teeth are at various depts. It makes this process so much easier. You have gorgeous hair by the way.

it looks good still. The bleach spot, and stripping is probly from folding the foils over itself. As the bleach developes it "swells" puffs up and gets frothy so folding the foils leave areas that push or crease the bleach off the stran of hair. (Think about tie dying or bleaching denim for example) The best method is to lightly samwich the foils together so the hair in incubated but the strand is not disturbed. And do half your head at a time so that you dont rush or get fatigued about the process taking so long. P.S. not a pro just and avid Brad Mondo watcher 😃

You can do it on yourself on the back of your hair. You need a good mirror set-up so you CAN see what you're doing, you need a lot of flexibility in your shoulders, need to be able to work through a mirror, need an incredibly good light set up and it takes a lot of specific practise because it is very different to doing other people's hair. But it is possible. And it is never gonna be as "easy" as doing other people's hair, it's always gonna be more stressful, feel way more intense and more of an effort. And while some people might like doing it, others will hate it. I totally get why even the best hair stylists and even those who are specialized on exactly what they would want to be done to their hair, don't do it on themselves but go to another stylist instead. So honestly the results you got while not being a professional and doing this for the first time isn't bad at all. Especially with that crazy amount and length of hair you got and had to work through.

I can only imagine the coordination and patience one would need to do the back of their head while looking in a mirror! I don’t think I have the patience or flexibility for it but I wish I did!! Hi Ellen-This was another great video-i especially liked hearing about time spent w your mom & the airplane conversations…you are sooooo sweet and sooooo travel savvy…and so insightful regarding fellow travelers!!! On an earlier video you mentioned that you made a vision board. I would love to know how you made a vision board (what software or did u cut pictures out of magazines) and did you apply the vision board to your life…you seem so good at setting goals and being focused on what you want out of life…keep up the great videos!!!

@@DeborahReffert thank you❤️ I have made physical vision boards in the past where I use magazines or print off pictures from Pinterest! But now I just download photos from Pinterest and put them on canva! You can also find pictures online from anywhere that you like and just screenshot them! Much quicker than the physical vision board but both are fun!

This video made me feel so comfortable and seen lol. Actively trying to break some walls down after being alone for about 2 years. I really enjoy my alone time but it can get really hard when everyone else around you constantly has someone their prioritizing, while I just have myself. I love the journey that I’m on and the seasons I went through, but I’m definitely ready for the next one! We got this girl!!

Dear Ellen - I’ve watched ALL of your videos and they are all great. I would like to give you some positive feedback because I want you to keep making videos. Your honesty and genuinely speaking from the heart is incredibly perfect so pls keep that up…just keep talking to us…about whatever is going on…you don’t have to b perfect…we get you…just the way you are. I like the length of your videos because you have enough time to thoroughly explore the topic. Statistically, every woman will live alone at some point so pls keep making videos that illustrate the single life and how you do it…giving ideas about how specifically you choose to spend your time in solitude….many of us are forced into living alone and don’t have any idea what to do it. You are doing it sooooo well. The single life is natural for you and we, your audience, can learn that living alone can be very fulfilling. I especially liked the detailed makeup video and the what you like and don’t like videos…it gave me ideas of things that I also like and want to incorporate. I liked seeing how you coped with staying inside during COVID…I also stayed in…wish I had your videos during that time. I loved the video where you showed what you ate to lose weight…really…the bottom line is pls keep being YOU!!! Thanks Ellen!

when you do semaglutide, you need to be eating plenty of protein, vs carbs, and do weight resistance training. otherwise, you're not doing yourself any favor of wasting your money no this drug, or someone else's money ha ha I don't know your situation; you said you do 2 activities and are exhausted, so it made me wonder if you're working. maybe you have an amazing job that only requires a couple of hours a day, and you're set. i don't know, but these comments are fair AND I do wish you all the best I am healthy at 180-190, being 6 feet tall, and just starting the Henry Meds semiglutide weight loss mgmt kit. I plan to LOSE 140 lbs., so quite the journey, hopefully gotten to that goal weight by 9/15/25., and celebrate even more on my birthday!

I can relate to soo much of what you're saying. I'm mexican so I definitely need my fix of good authentic mexican food. Luckily for me, my mother cooks amazing Mexican food (and she lives here too.) I agree with you on the need for more public restrooms and also the beach is nowhere near as nice as other parts of Spain, let alone Mexico or the Caribbean. And don't even get me started on the lackluster customer service and how so many restaurants are only open for a few hours a day and you can't just walk-in without a reservation. But like you said, no place is perfect and overall it's fair to say the pros outweigh the cons.
