Very useful thank you. I'm from the UK and I'm considering getting one. I have a few of the other squirrel buster feeders and they are excellent, but with this being £85 in the UK it has been putting me off, also the fact you can only use suet cake and not balls ect, we also have very small birds over here with small beaks and makes me wonder if they would be able to reach in and use it. Alot of the videos I see are things like wood peckers using the feeder

Mind saying where you purchased this remote and how much? I really appreciate your video because I got this exact remote with my A/C 7 years ago and the a/c is still perfect but this remote just stopped sending signal. Not batteries causing it.😊 thanks

How big is your 5 year old? Mine has the same problems you mentioned, but he's a bit on the skinny/lanky side.

My son is 4'9" and 53 lbs or so. Honestly I think my son has a pretty big head haha I'm not sure what the average is, but proportionally he's growing into it a bit within the last year or so!

We have one, too.. and love it.. not sure if we should invest in another one since we have another one on the way. How long did it take your first child to grow out of it? My daughter is 18 months and still fits in fine.. and I'm assuming as she gets older, we can take the foam out.
@brittaugc5 ай бұрын
I don't think the foam is removable, I never removed mine. I used mine with both of my kids. My first was pretty thick in the thighs and moved out of it around 14 months and my second was leaner so he was in it longer, probably 16-17 months or so. Just depends on the baby!

I bought one on a whim. It really is very nice. I like that I can stick some packaged food inside it so it's not wasted space. Spork is very handy too. However the rubberband thing broke on me last year. Ah well. At least it didn't cost a fortune.

so sad your rubber band broke! we've had this thing for years and ours is still going strong! you must have got a lemon :(

I'm not a parent, but I am a babysitter who helps kids study every once in a while. Nowadays, schools miss teaching phonics, so if you haven't already, I would recommend teaching phonics. While sight words are important, some kids don't catch on to how to sound words out. Which granted sounding words out isn't always helpful in English. Just a recommendation! I don't actually know what you are doing to help your kid learn, but I think it's great they already love reading!
@brittaugc6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll look into that! My son actually isn't in Kindergarten yet, he starts this coming fall. He's taken an interest in reading completely on his own, it started with him just memorizing his favorite books and has bloomed from there. So we've been trying to supply lots of age appropriate stuff for him to dig into on his own. We're really not pushing anything since we want the interest and motivation to come from within, especially while he's so young still! :)

@brittaugc I get what you are saying! Just warning for in the future. I have no real experience besides babysitting and helping kids study and read. Plus, letting your kid explore reading on their own is good. So many kids can't read nowadays or just refuse to read. I'm very glad kids still like reading.
