Can you please recommend rear bilstein shocks that are stiffer than the MB factory shocks? I am trying to get way less sag’ in the rear of my GL from a dead stop with stiffer than oem rear shocks? 2. whats your opinion on the oem front MB shocks? or would you go stiffer up front to match the new stiffer rears? thanks in advance.

Nice vid! I have an unrelated question. I own the Toyota equivalent of this vehicle (Land Cruiser Prado). It doesn't have ventilation, and it's not powered. Just a regular seat with lumbar support. Is there a way to make the seats less firm and more plush without adding any cushions or seat covers on top of the seat? Because they make me sit high and don't keep me in place while driving. Maybe go to an upholstery and replace the inside foam sponge? It was not recommended. But really, the seats feel very hard and firm, very uncomfortable.

I think 25 NM is too much for that cap especially on older B46/48 engines, 20 NM is plenty. Mine has never leaked when doing oil services with that torque.

The Grenadier is selling and if you look at all dealerships all brands the market is terrible right now and hopefully with our new president coming in office things will change, in regards to reliability it’s extremely reliable so far I haven’t heard of any major issues in the engine/drivetrain is proven that’s why they put it in this vehicle And in regards to cost because the vehicle is an import we have to pay tariffs on it, there was talk about manufacturing in the United States in the future hopefully that happens and hopefully they can get the cost down so it’s a little bit more affordable but compared to a jeep that is extremely capable and a little more affordable but a Jeep ranges from $50,000 upwards to $100,000 and so is the bronco so I do think the grenadier is doing well for the amount of dealers they have and again they just introduced this vehicle all we need is a little boost in the economy and I think this vehicle will do well and hopefully they will listen to their customers for the changes that they want in the future.

I personally would remove the chargers from their cases when in use. The heat created needs to dissipate from the chargers, and the cases hold that heat in. I know the GeniusPro25 actually has a symbol on it that will turn red if the temperature of the charger is too high and is overheating. Just wanted to offer a suggestion for safe usage and fire risk reduction. Thanks for your review.

Also, the B58 engine has a good reliability history, it is re-tuned for this application and that is why it was chosen for a European car that was designed by the same Austrian Engineering firm (Magna Steyr) that developed the original G-wagon. ‘Nuff said.

I don’t think you did your homework. Remember the deal for pre-prod orders - $495 deposit, fully refundable. I know some customers who spec’d 3 and then walked away. Dealers are stuck with that and will have to clear it out - and a lot of it is a little off (like maybe a winch but not triple locked). That’s how Ineos de-risked Year 1 for buyers - so now they will aggressively move that and just be working off a clean slate for Year 2.

When a market, like North America is selling 700 to 1000 a month & with limited number of dealers, you need inventory. As for the B58 & XF powertrain, that’s an unqualified opinion without any evidence. Some research will demonstrate it’s actually an excellent quality & reliable powertrain.

The BMW B58 engine and ZF 8-speed transmission is anything but unreliable. The Grenadier's chassis, suspension, and drivetrain has so far proven to be rock-solid. I can't speak to their sales numbers.

You my friend are a moron. You have no understanding of the distribution process. INEOS has no big central distribution facility so ALL vehicles go to the dealer. Hubs on every vehicle you have ever owned has this surface oxidation, you can just see it with steelies on. The BMW B58 is the motor Toyota decided to put in it's Supra. Unreliable? This is a highly proven power plant. You literally have no idea what you are talking about.
