Please keep the awesome content coming mate - you're an inspiration to this stiff 37 year old over by Stirling. It really stings losing something and especially a) cos this is your creative outlet and b) it was STOLEN which makes it worse. BUT at the end of the day it's just stuff and you can replace it. If by any chance you're really hard up I'd be happy to chip in a few quid with some of your other subscribers to sort you out another GoPro - just reach out!

Pageura, huh? Which bike shop did you choose?
@adamtempleton_tri2 ай бұрын
Went with RideMallorca, and pretty much matched what all the reviews said about it: ran by one older gentleman so even if there is one other person you have to wait, but the bike was in excellent condition and ran super smooth (Trek emonda SL6 mechanical), you got given all the necessary extras like spares, a pump and bike computer mount all for a competitive price against the rest of the shops!

@@adamtempleton_tri They are just off 'Boulevard', I reckon. Lend me super glue once to fix my valve, but yeah, not an experience all in all 🙈 Are your routes on Strava or Kommot?
@adamtempleton_tri2 ай бұрын
All rides public on Strava, should be able to find me under the same name as this YT channel! However, do double check the route if you plan on doing it yourself to remove the silly out n back parts that I had included by mistake 😂

Great video dude, every event, successful or not, is valuable, they create experience, teaches us lessons and builds confidents. It’s important to reflect on every event and your training leading up to it, but don’t dwell on it. Become a better athlete through great planning and event experience. Wish you all the best for your future
@michaeloconnor98093 ай бұрын
You did an incredible winter in training especially if all those hours were outside cycling. Maybe too much..if you treat every event as a race then you risk disappointment when the whole point is to enjoy it.
@drunkenwaster12183 ай бұрын

Adam any advice for two 75 year olds... What speed do you get up to on the big climb ?
@adamtempleton_tri3 ай бұрын
Hi, when you get to the climb the main thing to remember is to take it at your own pace. It's a long effort, but never too steep, so just make sure you don't go into the red too early! The descent down the other side is not too technical and everyone is spread out at that point so it is super safe. Be sure to regroup with others as it's still a little while until you get to the finish! 👍

Thanks for putting this video together. Nice work. Conveyed the message it was a tough event and gave a sense of some of the drama you overcame. I enjoyed the self analysis. Was hoping to get more of a sense of the terrain you covered, but that probably wasn't realistic given you didn't have any helicopter footage😋. Maybe you could have used some time-lapse sequences with the camera pointing straight ahead? Hope you enjoy improving your descending as the weather starts to warm up in your hemisphere.
