I 100% can it’s like when people don’t understand how men can just stop thinking. I just stop having emotional thoughts

Great quote, "you get burned out from the thought of fixing your life." Regarding productivity, I've been using Notion to keep track of everything in my life, but it would be interesting to see this app when it's complete.

However I feel like every time I get burnt out when I go do it again I can go longer till I burn out. Sometimes I get massive lows, but I am slowly figuring out how to shorten the lows and extend the time I can work like crazy
@kelset5 ай бұрын
"extending the time I can work like crazy" doesn't sound healthy, does it?
@lucc66195 ай бұрын
@@kelset I think it does. I can do and Achieve more things. For example, I am in University, but at the same time I am getting a real estate license, but at the same time I am also learning japanese. If I am able to increase the amount of time I can work extremely hard. I will in the long term have more time to myself because I will not only be able to work longer, but I will also be able to get stuff done in a shorter amount of time allowing me to work on more stuff.

Totally get that not understanding and regulating emotions can hurt your work. How can you know if you have to work on that or if you are doing ok?

Great conversation - thanks! There's definitely something in our (especially tech) culture that equates mental imbalance with weakness and being less productive. When listening in, the phrase "professionals don't cry" came to mind. Thanks again for sharing this 💙 Now I'll put on my big boi running shoes and hit the gravel 🏃

I came here for entertainment and left realizing I need a therapist 😅 On a serious note: Thank for sharing - I loved the long and informal form. Related to question #1: Another solution to feeling guilty of not learning and trying something new, could also be solved in collaboration with your workplace. If you say this out loud, your team lead / manager might be supportive of you taking causes, attending conferences or simply reading books in your "work time".

great insight! I agree, more companies should embed learning time into their standard working hours to help people stay up to date! I have been lucky to have some form of that for the past few years and feeling that you are supported in learning is very important
