The common bait may have been more effective if you used a different rod. The heart of the forest increases rarity by 35%. Though that might explain why you were getting so many high rarity instead. Rarity chance pulls odds away from lower rarities proportionately to their odds (common gets effected more than uncommon which gets affected more than rare, and so on), and the common bait adds common rarity chance, diluting the chance pool in it's favor. The two don't cancel out, but rather affect each other weirdly. In the end though, higher rarity gets nearly untouched while uncommons, rares, and epics take a significant hit. It might be onteresting to test the bait in the river where only uncommons, legendarys, and mythics can spawn. Since it's adding odds to a pool that doesn't exist it might bwhave strangly. Might also be interesting to test click bait there as well
