Looks fun but id never ride it. Also the laughing track made my heart jump considering thats what they had to listen to for 5 hours. Almost like it taunted them. (And no this isnt rage bait or a hate comment. You posted a public video and im posting my thoughts. Its how the internet works)

Ok, thank you for sharing your thoughts.. However I am going to correct you (Thats how the internet works). The soundtrack was turned off soon after the crash, so more like a couple of minutes and in the place it did crash (at the time) you couldnt really hear the soundtrack from that area.

@JDJ771 it's not rage bait. It's literally a valid concern. No matter what things like this always carry a chance of death and it makes sense why someone would never want to ride it after what happened. I'm terrified to go on ones the never had tragedies.

@@harry24027that's a bold thing to say considering things can happen. Never is not something you can promise and even if the crash wasn't a result of the ride having faults it's still a traumatizing

This ride will always impress me. With it’s unique and intense layout my first experience on this ride made me very disoriented with how many inversions it has. I have never been upside down that many times on roller coaster. The most inversions I have experienced in America is 9 with Steel Curtain at Kennywood PA which is sadly closed for the 2024 season.

Im already excited to ride the smiler again in the 2024 season. Not as excited for nemesis though, since ive nver ridden it, so i dont have as much love for it as other people do, but its my 2nd thing im most excited to ride next season 😅

“If it doesn’t shake it’s going to break” meaning that the track wobbling a tiny bit is actually sometimes good rather than bad. (If it didn’t shake more pressure theoretically gets put on the track where as some free movement allows for more even pressure).

Why do people have such little faith in professionals and old technology. Rollercoaster have been being made since the early 1900s, and The Smiler in particular was extremely expensive. It's a top of the line coaster. If it wobbles, it's supposed to do that to absorb motion.
