Mabe it's my imagination, but the steering wheel looks bent or loose while your driving. Other than that, it looks awesome.

Any acceleration hesitation is probably due to electronic spark control, which can be removed. I love these cars. While not worth a lot of money, its a cool ride.

my first car was a 86 buick regal mine had the bench seat and manual windows but same color scheme mine had the v6 in it. god i love the 86 buick regals

That is a very subtle "two tone" paint job. Based on the photos, can barely tell if it is just the light breaking differently on the body creases. Nice example of the long forgotten "R" body of 1979-1981 era.

270 was body style not engine. Probably had a 225. Slant. 6 originally. They did have a 273. V8. In the 2 door hardtop. Dart. GT.
