You buy the disc version and don't connect to the internet, but you don't need it because the updated game is much better. I have the disc, but I updated to the latest patch a long time ago

Genuine question, do you actually believe that the game got censored, even after all the evidence of later updates that it wasn't? The change of the word "hard" to "crime" is understandable if we're being honest, but besides that, Do you not consider the posibility that it was only a creative decision by shift up to modify those two outfits? They gave us an upgraded version in patch 1.003, and not to mention the bikini outfits of 1.006, and the physics changes of 1.007, which is chef's kiss. And i didn't even talk about the bug fixes and mods

As long as it’s on the disc that’s what the true design was supposed to be. Those 12 skins were advertised uncensored 38 hours before release. There was even more blood/gore in the demo with no frame dips. If their creative decisions to censor all that just 38 hours before launch then they deserve all the flack they still get. As soon as it’s on PC the fans will fix their mistakes. They only started pandering to the fans once the petition hit 200k signatures. We got the bikini skins a month after it hit 200k signatures. The only reason they refuse to revert the 12 original skins back to their on disc forms, is because then they would have to admit they caved to Sony’s demands. @@IsekaiApostle I don't know what those 12 skins you're talking about are. the big hoopla was only about the changes they made for two specific suits. also, there is no logical consistency in your argument. if Sony doesn't allow side boob in their games, why did they keep it in that one specific planet diving suit? and what about the other more revealing suits, like the ocean maid, the black wave, the black pearl, the blue monsoon, and more. I think that Shift up decided to change those two outfits to make them look more classy. about the blood and gore, it could be censorship, or maybe they felt like the game will look cleaner with a little bit less blood. either way, it's very bloody and rated M, so it doesn't really matter. Also, may I remind you that the game wasn't available for the public when they made these changes, and was out only for review copies, so it's not like they took back something that they already implemented. If Sony had beef with Shift up, they wouldn't promote the game again in their latest state of play. In my opinion, it was all one big misunderstanding that went out of proportions, because it's the internet, and everyone is quick to blame others and get to rushed conclusions. Either way. I don't really care, and the reason I write all of this is because I'm bored. If you insist to be stuck on the past, you're missing out a lot of great content and a quality of game improvements. The difference is like night and day between version 1.00 and version 1.007. You didn't experience pure sexiness if you didn't play Eve with the mid summer alice suit and squish physics. good luck perfect parrying those naytibas consistently on version 1.00

@@sahargenish7058 Nice long easy corporate-simp. But all one has to do is look up “FreeStellarBlade” for an in depth analysis of all the 12 skins that were altered from the base disc version. And like I said if the petition didn’t get 200k they wouldn’t be pandering. If not for the petition the summer skins, new improved physics, and the soon to be released photo mode would not exist.

Hello. I don't understand much English, I hope I can explain myself. I've been playing until today, I have all the costumes etc with the latest update. I save the game in the cloud and a backup in case something strange happens. I uninstall the game, disconnect the network, reinstall the game in version 1.00, then when I play again, I download the file from the console that I've played these last few days and will I be able to see my uncensored costumes? Well, I'm doing it in that order, if what I explain doesn't work out, I'll leave it in another comment.

Indeed, it is as I have said, I have the uncensored outfits, but I am missing many outfits and the MK2 mods disappeared. There are only very few uncensored outfits, I was hoping to see the Japanese version of the black pearl lol and the oceanic girl without that addition of a skirt, since I have seen several images without that clothing supplement for the oceanic girl and they are the only two outfits that interested me the most, the black pearl and the oceanic girl. Anyway, thank you very much for letting me know how to play without censorship, I will keep that in mind in the future.

Well, if you do some research about the actress Erika Ishii who’s playing the main character you won’t be excited about this game anymore. It’s time people stop trusting these developers once and for all. Over the last decade we have countless examples of KuSony messing up sequels of beloved games. It’s starting to be an obvious pattern. Look for example at the sequels of TLoU, Spiderman, etc. The list goes on. I’mnot going to get hyped anymore. I’ve stopped giving developers the benefit of the doubt anymore. I got disappointed too many times by now. They have to earn my trust each and every time over again. I also want to point out that as suspected IGN is manipulating the votes for GOTY. They hate Wukong so much that they didn’t even mention it in one of their posts about the potential winners while the game is killing the competition by far if you look at countless polls online. It’s all over again like with Ghost of Tsushima back in the days.

Hey Pinga! I don’t really care about the politics, i just lost interest when i found out the new game does not continue the story of the first game and has a new main character. @@pingamalinga A thin, frail framed woman samurai, when there were no female samurai, in a place, time and setting that does not make sense for a female protagonist? When she’s supposed to follow in the footsteps of Jin, who would take on ten large men at a time… The chances of such character being well written are already very low. The western banjo music of the trailer gave me a bad vibe. It didn’t take long to see why.

Hey Drumple! I never played the first game but that sounds like a great way to move things forward! The health economy in SM2 definitely feels broken in its current state! If they do remove the AOE damage health glitch it would be great if they rebalance health & healing first to keep the game feeling fun & funky! Thanks for the comment!

@@tokyostoner that or hopefully the entry of aphotecary class would help with survivability more because health economy currently isnt great due to the chance of being stunlocked and being able to heal contested health in time due to either (previous stated) stun lock or lack of overall dmg

Yhh the stunlock is rough when it hits 🤣🤣🤣 New classes would be super cool, i also thought the Apothecary could be helpful when it comes to rebalancing the health economy. Right now the game is great & i just hope when the changes finally come through they don’t break the fun factor!

Did you watch the trailers? Autonetic Bondage (Extends to Cybernetic) is censored. There was nothing in the inside of the outfit on her belly. The design of the outfit is shown on the left. That's what it is suppose to look like.

Question: Once you have visited and completed a Shrine are you saying you CAN go back a revisit a Shrine and find the wood OR are you saying ITS A ONE AND DONE JOB.??? And? That Revisiting a Shrine a second time for Yew wood OR Wax wood is NOT possible. No glitches no restarting check points that you know of?

On my first play through, got midsummer outfits and all things level 3 from R shop, along with the Oasis swim suits. Then finally discovered and found cybernetic bondage which i really wanted to play through a bit with the uncensored version so i did the down patch (being on the 1.006 version) and worked just fine on the down patch for the uncensored content. I have not beaten the game yet and about to enter abyss levoroe (since i have all side missions now complete) and i decided I'd like to play through the rest and finish the game out and whatevers remaining of the cut sceens while wearing midsummer redhood. Welp, when went to return to the up patch, everything was there but i lost midsummer redhood, midsummer alice, fourseconds destroyed denim, both oasis swim suits, and even the Notes in Eve Protocol! When i try to buy these back from R Shop, they show the lock circle around only these specific ones like they did before once hitting level 3 with Roxanne however the diffence now is i cant purchase or get them back, shows 0 owned with Roxanne still at level 3, so its like they are completely locked out now. Same situation with Clyde. Any ideas on how to get these back so i can finish out the game with my skin of choice being midsummer redhood? Otherwise, ill just have to down patch again to finish out the game in uncensored cybernetic bondage which is still a win in my opinion, just wish i could have the freedom of option to go back to midsummer redhood without issues as i was intending to enjoy my first play through with the skin id like to personally use to enjoy that first experience feeling (I've avoided all spoilers). Wish they could have a uncensored/censored toggle! The game is rated freakin M! The best common ground for all would be a toggle as it would provide a win to those who are "so offended" can have the censored option, i dont understand what the big deal is when the game clearly has a M rating. Also, loved the logo for the Hard R Shop, so stupid they censored that too. Looked way better as originally designed. Any help/feedback will be super appropriated! Just came across your channel when searching around for this issue.
