By 2010, Moss would go from NE to Minnesota to Tennessee, all in one season.

And the patriots missed a 39 yard field goal on their first possession, so it could have been 48-0 at halftime and 62-0 final This reminds me of when Brady had 6 td passes in a PLAYOFF game vs Denver in 2011 just minutes into the second half 🐐

Bob Davie is wrong in comparing GT's offensive to the wishbone. Wishbone involved bringing blockers to the point of attack, whereas GT (especially in this game) used men in motion to draw people away from the plays. Davie knows the option, but his simplistic assessment of this is maybe more a case of him dumbing it down for TV than it is a good description of what's happening in these offensives. Whenever people tried in 2008-2009 to defend it like the wishbone, they saw one changed blocking assignment on offense ruin their entire defensive game plan, which is why so many of those early Johnson teams were torching good teams' defenses.

Notre Dame and Michigan are a HUGE rivalry?
@jtwilliams889525 күн бұрын
Man, Grossman had his memorable moments with Berrian and Dez Clark. But he had some terrible pocket awareness. Being able to sense the pressure around you, move in the pocket and keep your eyes downfield is key to being a good NFL QB. Trubisky was a (fringe) pro bowl QB when he had a strong offensive line. But once the OL started to falter, he seemed to sense pressure when none was there.
@DCSk8er52925 күн бұрын
2:47:06 No, they didn't whip Notre Dame. Kelly's dumbass decision to throw when ALL HE NEEDED WAS A FG TO WIN won Tulsa the game. I mean how can you NOT acknowledge that decision?

may have been surprising in 2010, but deferring the kick-off is fairly standard now.
