Pretty sure 10,000 of these views are from me. And I found this song like 2 weeks ago. It's so damn good, the chorus is one of the best i've ever heard.

@@ianwalters6264 hi! i'm actually a member of the band, i play guitar, and we are from Mexico. We hadn't listened this song until our drummer pointed out the similarity between the two songs a few months ago, i think it is a coincidence. I think is a cool thing that our song is similar to this one since this is such a good tune. Good vibes.

@@ianwalters6264 I've never heard of Herb Alpert before and now i'm listening to his music all day long, i loved "Rise". I could recommend you a psych rock band from de early 70's late 60's called La Revolución de Emiliano Zapata ( watch?v=0jV5cg5mddU ) also a band called "Beirut" made an album, "La Marcha de los Zapotecas" inspired in traditional music and instrumentation from Oaxaca. Good vibes Ian, hope my english is not that bad.

Forget the 90's, it's the 60's that have been captured here. The dah-dah-dah's on this and the buddaw-buddaw-buddaw's on Into The City not only capture the great sound of the Association but they capture the magic and spirit of the era too, something that has proved impossible to all who've previously tried. It didn't quite work on Howdy, but now they've perfected it.

i like the crisp clean guitar strumming; perfect balance between lazy and stimulating. and then the teenage fanclub's patented psychedelic interludes to wash through my brain chemistry and cheer me up with sweet melancholy daydream
