Although he was only 19 when we met, what stood out was a level of maturity and a upright character that I hadn't seen among his peers. That was a big attraction for me. He was and still is gentle and kind, self sacrificing as well. I found, and still find those attributes very attractive. Last, and certainly not least, he is a handsome, tall, black man! He dressed well then and dresses well now. He cares about his inner appearance and his outer appearance, spiritually and otherwise, back then as a young believer and now as a seasoned Christian. Now that is attractive!

I'm attracted to the complimentary male. His teeth, skin tone.(the darker the better) his intelligence and compassion. Ability to partake in sensible conversation that stimulates my thinking outside the box. In other words good companionship.

Teeth, skin tone, (not red man) LOL ... Intelligence, compassion, intellectually stimulating, creativity, good companion. ... Interesting. Thanks Bev

Testicular fortitude. 😁 I like that expression. Question: Some women feel they can do anything a man can do (and maybe even better) and some men are comfortable with a woman doing ucoventional things in a relationship. If two such persons are attracted to each other, would you still hold fast to your old school view that the woman should wait for the man to make a move?
@203rodney3 жыл бұрын
The women who believe that they can do anything a man can do are probably right but they need to remember that most of them are not pursuing another WOMAN. They need to remember that "the kind of man THEY WANT may not be found in a man who needs a woman to initiate a relationship. To the men who prefer the "unconventional", remember "unconventional" is only good until it is also unhelpful. Some things were established a common practice for a reason. If they are both in agreement and they know they could live with that, that's ok. But please do not go into the marriage with the expectation that he will suddenly turn into the LEADER that you want ... If he does not just accept it. For the male, do not decide after that you do not want a woman to dominate you. If she does (I am NOT saying that she will) ... but if she does accept it and live in peace. Hope this helps.

Thank you for this video. The reality is that many persons are hurting and still trying to heal from persons who would have misled them in terms of their intentions towards them. False expectations hurt especially when you would have invested your time and effort into that person.

Excellent points to consider since they are real marriage crushers. I love also that you do not tell persons not to continue the relationship if they see those traits, but give the option 'if you could live with it'. Of course, because they are in 'love' they may think, no big thing, but having this negative trait displayed constantly can wear down a relationship.
@203rodney3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Auntie Pauline ... Yes they need to be sure that they can live with it...
