The link is down again. I've downloaded the commonly available 128 kbps version of the album, and a curious thing I've noted is that the tracks that are also on the demo "Cold" have a different sound from the rest. In particular, "Invisible" sounds identical to this upload, which you claim is from "Cold". It's almost as if someone ripped both the album and the demo to 128 kbps, deleted the album versions of the song that were also on the demo, and then spliced the album and demo together and uploaded it pretending it was only the album. Or maybe the band just took the demo songs and put them on the album without re-recording or remastering them. Can you upload the thing again? Also, in case your version sounds the same as mine: do you own the album so you know that's actually how it's supposed to sound? Also, do you own or have a rip of the demo "Cold", and if so can you upload it? (if you do, please respond to this so I see it)

How the fuck did Necrovore get remastered like this? Is there some alternate source that I am not aware of, or did someone literally turn the demo material I heard into something as impressive as this? I've tried my hand at remastering rough recordings myself, and this just blows my mind.

ThrashedDeath 100% agree! This demo has been bootlegged and re-released a million times and it had always sounded like an 8th generation dub. I think that the original might have sounded closer to this bootleg than most of the other bootlegs, but it's something most of us will never know because 99% of the apes who claim they have the original demo are actually holding a j-card that has been soaked in tea to look aged and yellow. When in doubt, sniff demo covers - paper shouldn't smell like coffee. Sniffing things is usually a good way to clear crowded sections in record shops, because it makes you look like... I can't actually think of anything weirder than sniffing cassettes. Bottom line is, I agree with your comment. Don't tell people I sniff tapes..

+ThrashedDeath From what I heard, they recorded this before Divus De Mortuus, but they were working with an engineer who didn't understand the genre and they weren't happy with the super polished sound so they never released it.
