Some fish are picky about the presentation, it helps to have the hook right between the tail to keep it balanced but I'm sure it doesn't have to be perfect to catch some fish.

U have it on wrong tbh, u gotta bring the hook out right before the split,or else the bunching takes away from performing when the fish want finesse. Not being that person at all, it's all I use besides rooster tails and worms.that body is best at being straight. I wade in the water and cast down behind the tail of the hole. Then slowly bring it up but suspended in the pocket. The straight body really makes a difference in the performance when you want to place it amd keep it suspended near that little tiny spot where they should be.

Shortly after buying the trout magnet stuff, I went onto solely fly fishing, but I could sink some of these under an indicator (bobber) on the end of my fly line to see how they do. How do you cast this when it’s so light
@jamminjamyoutdoors43856 ай бұрын
There are a few things you can do. You could use lighter fishing line, like 2-6 lb monofilament line. Your fishing rod and reel should be balanced for casting lighter tackle/lures like this. You can add some split shots or weights to your line about 12 inches above the trout magnet, or you can fish it below a bobber which will give you some casting weight. Does anyone else have any tips? If so, please let us know :)
@ragnaroksangel5 ай бұрын
You know you can add weights to things, right?

@@jamminjamyoutdoors4385 A ultralight/light action rod is pretty much required for these as well (unless you're adding split shot, but that would mess with the lures action).
