Definitely worth it! That time spent is only the first time, and if you enjoy the design process, I doubt it will feel like much of a chore. There are probably less professional ways to do it with less effort, but this is so cute

And that's on easy mode. Doing that EVERY DAY? Or if that's all you have for the whole rest of the month? Just $7.78, and then there's hygene products and such so you don't get fired for being stinky. You can't live on that. I had a time where I was homeless and jobless, and I needed to just make it through, so I collected a grocery bag of bottles and cans, took them to the depot, and then went and bought what I could with the few dollars I got from that, and then went to the church for some help because I just needed to make it through another month or 2 until I could get work again.

My friends and I got bored one time and my friend's cube broke. So we started playing with the stuff inside. It's incredibly sticky and it almost felt like glue.

FANTASTIC challenge, effort, and results. Realistically, can you do that for a week - a month? Also, taking into account the other obstacles that people have, like work, transportation, dietary restrictions, etc. VALUABLE reporting - thank you!!

Are they changing sales tax in Canada? Because I didn't see anything online that they were.
@Oboak19 сағат бұрын
@Ma5jay5dontxdoxthat they usually charge sales tax on everything (different in each province) except for essential goods (think ingredient groceries, bread milk eggs, cold ready made foods from the deli). The government implemented a tax free season for the holidays this year that mostly includes children’s goods, but also take out and hot food

The roller looks like a knock off of (i think) the ono roller which is INCREDIBLE. I used it during my first tattoo and it's super relaxing, it also helps distract me from skin picking. It's more expensive but it's sooooo worth it, it's super high quality and there are different size options for your hand

I get frustrated with these “$5.00 lunch” segments. I feel it sends the opposite message to what Street Cents is all about. Last minute requests prove a waste of time & money spent on a lunch that is mediocre at best. I thought they would demonstrate how meal planning and prep is more time efficient and more money savings. How to use coupons or find coupons would be a nice suggestion for a segment.

Key is buying a grain that goes with everything. I do rice. Then just always have carrots, onion, and potatoes. Then buy things ON SALE. If you can, produce that can be frozen. I dice and freeze onion, carrots, and celery for soups.
