Ce n'est pas du vrai damas c'est un damasteel industriel rien à voir avec un vrai damas forgé.

I don't understand why everybody says this knife isn't for actual use. Yes it is. It just isn't for every day carry use. You put this in a hiking backpack or in your camping gear or have it easily accessible around the house or when you are touring or exploring some new place, you put it in a belt pouch. Then, you purchase a smaller knife, such as the swiss champ (not the XXL or XAVT), for every day carry.

J'ai trouvé un Hiker quasi-fossilisé dans un tiroir, je l'ai réstauré, maintenant il brille comme un sou neuf et grâce à cette vidéo je sais que c'est pas une douille !

Moi je me suis pris le Huntsman

Pas d'épingle, pas de stylo, pas de cure-dent, pas de pincette (le tout possiblement avec bout noir (sauf pour l'épingle)), le mini tournevis que Victorinox est toujours incapable de proposer en noir, pas de cordon (possiblement en noir), voilà en effet une version très limitée ! :)

Coucou à toi, j’aime bien tes videos, elles sont apaisantes et bien détaillées. J’ai le meme, que j’ai acheté récemment, mais les outils sont vraiment très durs à sortir pour certains surtout l’ouvre boite et tournevis plat… j’ai beau huiler et ouvrir et sortir mais ca redevient dur… c’est pas évident. J’avais le meme modèle en version black, avec la lame coupe sangle, c’etait dur au debut mais ils se sont assouplis, mais par contre sur ce modele, ca m’a l’air plus compliqué.. j’ai tout essayé, huile, ouvrir et refermer plein de fois avec de l’huile, secher.. nettoyer, rincer, secher, spray depoussierant, c’est toujours pareil pour le moment lol… dommage que Victorinox ne font pas un multitool un peu comme la gamme Free ou comme le Arc de chez Learherman, ca serait tooop. Et pour une vidéo comparative de tous les Swisstool, j’aimerai bien oui ☺️👌

Dans les 91mm, à mon sens, les deux meilleurs sont le huntsman et le handyman. Je trouve d'ailleurs que le huntsman serait mieux en 84mm mais ça n'existe plus. A la place du compact je préfère largement le Rambler qui est un 58mm.

pour moi le compact est vraiment top du top le meilleur je n'arrive pas a m'en passer ^^

Superbe présentation Perso, Au Classic, je préfère le Signature qui permet d'avoir un stylo à la place du cure-dent. Au Pioneer X, je préfère le Farmer X qui permet d'avoir une scie en plus et qui correspond donc au Huntsman en Alox. Au Huntsman, je préfère le Ranger qui permet d'avoir une scie à métaux/lime en plus.

My list 1. Rambler or Midnite Manager 2. Alox Bantam (gentleman’s evening knife) 3. Alox MiniChamp (durable key chain knife) 4. Huntsman Lite (camping & outdoor use) 5. Compact (everyday carry) 6. Alox #7 Harvester (heavy duty work) and one more the Rescue tool (for car emergencies) I have all the knives in your list and they are good choices with maybe the exception of the classic with the advent of the Rambler or the versions with a pen or light

Re: Lack of key ring. The original Soldier, upon which the Pioneer range is based, did not have a key ring. The Farmer does have a key ring. I removed mine with a dremel. Why? Because when you use the knife and, in particular, the saw, for any time and with effort and application, it digs into your hand. If I were Victorinox I would put a key ring on all the models. That way, if you do not like it, you can always remove it.

im gonna mod a cybertool s by adding it the hook from compact,magnifying glass, inline philips/light and wood saw (optional).

j'ai le cybertool depuis 2000/01, il a un peu ramassé et perdu quelques petits bouts , apres c est orienté informatique donc ducoup une scie....on va rarement l'utiliser en informatique ou en eventuellement utilisation urbaine/picnic ( crochet chaine vélo), apres, je songeais a un remplacant pour une utilisation outdoor et le rescue (jaune) me semblais pas mal.

After watching the video I understand the brown handled knife is completely original from 1949! (I thought it was a modern replica with brown scales…) Understandably, it also shows it has been *used* . So the 1891 reissue is *only in black*?

The tools in the back always match a specific tool in the front. The two tools in the back you are missing come with the metal file and saw, which are not part of this knife.
