Although we live in an Electronic Era, a Good Hard Covered Book, in the hands of an impressionable child who has a thirst for knowledge, can prove to be invaluable, or, in the words of a Japanese Buddhist, a Satori....an awakening of sorts. In this, and other parts of the world, Used Books can be had for free, or, for very little, at Garage/Estate Sales. Since Jamaican Uncle's purpose for embarking on this journey is to help as many people as he can, I think there could be no greater legacy than a Not-for-Profit Organisation, by way of a Jamaican Uncle Library, in one of the schools in Jamaican Uncle's home town Parish of St. Elizabeth. Sometime, in the not too distant future, Jamaican Uncle will announce a designated place/places, where those Used Books can be dropped off, or, if you prefer the books to be collected, please do not hesitate to contact Jamaican Uncle. On the other hand, I have no doubt that you and your friends can get together and donate a Barrel of Used Books. I am on board....How about YOU? Together....WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Uncle also consider that these young Kenyan people who have a culture of begging online! It is very shameful! They don’t understand how hard people in UK and US work to get their money! There is also the rudeness, shamelessness and arrogance they show even while building their massive houses ( using donations) - they let you know how poor you are in west! I am appalled by the blatant disrespect for older people too! Look at what they are doing to their own brother Marwa and his family! Just sad!🙁🙁🙁
@JamaicanuncleСағат бұрын
You’re 💯 percent right about that, they need to do better because some of them is using this platform for the wrong reason and then turn around and bashing Marwa when he open their eyes, shame on them
